Andy Dalton Era Begins **merged**

I never sad is is an bum.

But i dont think he is worth 40 mils /year.

And he is not overrrated also. Most experts see him as an average Q as i do.

And how have you determined he’s not worth the contract Dallas offered him ($33 million/year)?

It can’t be statistical production because he laid out a 5,000 yard 33 TD season last year and was on pace to shatter every Dallas passing record this year.

So, lay out your argument that’s he’s only average..

And when you make a claim back it up with evidence. For example, you say he can’t read defenses. That’s a claim. You don’t get to arbitrarily state by ipse dixit or straight fiat that he can’t read defenses. So how do you know this and what is your evidence?

I’ll wait lollers...

Interesting that routing for Dalton led Cowboys is a bad thing. I thought you were a Dallas fan but obviously not if you are slamming Dalton. You do realize people can route for Dallas and not just Dak, right?
Stop playing coy, you know what you meant in your headline.

Dalton needs better OL play to be good, what we have right now is the worst OL he’s ever had and some of those Bengals OLs were pure garbage. I feel like he’ll be just good enough to drop us out of the top 10 on draft night but had our OL been healthy I think he could have done great. He’s not better than Dak and we’re worse today than yesterday

Take your pick, plenty of defensive players that would of been an upgrade on Poe, injured McCoy, Clinton-Dix, Worley..

$18m is not much for two starting D-Linemen and 2 Safeties, backup QB .....and have money to pay your Draft Picks.
That's 2019 free agency so you're not even in the correct year and you still haven't shown me a Donald or Watt player.

Not only that but Dallas could have created tons of more cap space to sign wherever they wanted. It's a myth that Dallas couldn't bring players in because Dak got paid. Free agency has a history of teams over paying for players and get little in return.

Okay, so Dak threw an INT for a TD return and Dalton fumbled which led to a NYG TD.....so in other words Dalton and Dak are equal QB's.
If that’s the route you wanna go. I’ll be right here next week after Arizona game plans for dalton and you see what he is. The reason people aren’t happy about the win isn’t because dalton won the game. (Which he didn’t. It was a team win and Gallup bailed him out big time.) it’s because the leader of this team went down with a significant injury. The fact you’re cheering about the win and not even mentioning Prescott is why people are judging your post to be anti Dak and why people are calling you classless. It’s like you had the thread title picked at the beginning of the season and were waiting to post it.

They player worship

Its sickening
They are going to see that other QBs can play and thrive when passing to these WRs. It will soon become apparent that Dak’s play can be duplicated and even improved on when replaced by a smarter, more consistent QB. Several of us haters have been saying for years that many QBs do just as well , if not better and at a much smaller salary cap hit.

By *every* Dallas passing record...you mean yards? Or attempts?

Agree, it’s strange how they can only see Dakota as the face of the franchise, no matter how good or bad he plays.......can’t quite put my finger on why. They would probably be ok with Mahomes, Wilson or Jackson......but never someone like Dalton

bbbBbbbbut Dakota was so durable? ......what happened? Let’s move on and put this myth to bed
for 4 years he was, was he not? And even this wasn't his body breaking down, and does not constitute a history of injuries.
