Am I mistaken or did he say "he's a great player. He's the one that took out Romo." Towards the end of the game. Is there no semblance of respect in the media anymore?
It was a division changing play. No problem with the comment because it was not a dirty play.
Was it dirty - I don't know - did her purposely drive him into the turf - that is an obvious yes! Purposely driving into the turf is a personal foul on the QB I believe.

Gruden seems to know more about the players he covers than any other announcer. He does his research. Don't start anything here, he didn't say it in that context. Gruden is a huge Romo supporter.
The problem with Gruden is his praise/criticism is based on the latest results. Until halfway thru the 2nd quarter, NY and Eli were a rising force in the NFCE, and Kelly's Eagles were bumbling and stumbling. By the fourth quarter, the Eagles were a legitimate first place team with a great D (including the DBs), and the Giants hopelessly crippled by the O and D lines.
He did agree with his counterpart that this was a horribly played football game by both parties.
He's like every other announcer in that he over plays the " in the moment" buy his take on games and players is second to none imo. He's by far my favorite commentator during games. Can't say the same for Aikman.
Different strokes. Other than Phil Simms, Gruden is the worst commentator; opinion is always based on the last play.
That gets a little old. Really my only complaint about him.Gruden said it. Any player he talks about he says they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
That new outrage society y'all smh. People really hear things some strange ways nowadaysAm I mistaken or did he say "he's a great player. He's the one that took out Romo." Towards the end of the game. Is there no semblance of respect in the media anymore?
