Philly could have a decent team in the future, but it won't be this year. I hate they drafted Barnett.

NY is the main competitor and they're hard to predict. For all this talk about a book on Dak, I think the same could be said for the NY Defense, from our perspective. They went and threw a ton of cash at players, brought them into the scheme and no one had any tape on them. They were throwing some pretty unique presnap stuff at us that we hadn't seen before from them.

Sorry if that guy doesn't scare me. Our defense managed to shut him down last season...their defense scares me a bit but I'll take Dak in his second year over a Hankinless defense.

With their defense, you would think the Giants would invest more in their offensive line or running game, this would take pressure off of Eli, much like the Cowboys did with Romo in his final years. Instead it seems they plan to air it out more this season. That's great...that means more interceptions for Eli.

As someone else stated in this thread...they're a very oddly built team for playoff success.

Dallas lost by one point with a rookie quarterback in his first game and by 3 Points in New York. The Giants were and are built to stop the run and they have as good a set of corners as there are in the league, perfect personnel for stopping a run first team with a rookie behind center. What would you have had Garrett done differently? If you can't get to Eli, it's hard to beat the Giants. It's as simple as that.

The first game is a wash, Giants should be embarrassed they came that close to losing against a rookie backfield playing their first game.

The second game? Giants had the personnel to confuse our rookie QB and Dez played the worst game of his career. I'm not the biggest Garrett defender but you're way over analyzing two very close losses that could've went either way.

There was no "either way" They were losses. The NFL goes by win or lose, not even scandals can deter that. Win or Lose, nothing in between. Their coaches took a sub OL, better D better ST and swept us.

Not sure why people are so scared or in love with the giants. They will be lucky to win 7-8 games next year.........watch and see
