Yeah buddy. You'll know I'm about facts. Like the fact that he wasn't their kicker in either Dallas game. Ignorant and lazy is no way to go through life.

Yes, if somebody wrote it on the Internet, it must be true.

The linked column talks about 2015 like the Cowboys went four and 12 because Garrett got conservative late in games or something. The linked column talks about the first game of the season last year in which the Cowboys were being led by a rookie quarterback in his first game, as if having Prescott air the ball out in the fourth quarter was the thing to do. Had Prescott thrown an interception late in the game with Dallas ahead, you would be crucifying Garrett for that.

I have been plenty critical of Garrett in the past, especially his lack of creativity with the offense during Romo's tenure. But blaming the Giants losses on coaching seems kind of silly to me considering all the coaches that Garrett's team beat during a three and 13 season, especially when you're basing your argument on anything to do with 2015 and failure to get aggressive in the first fourth quarter of Prescott's career .

I disagree- um... I mean: Many would disagree.

So your position is that a guy who didn't play against Dallas is one of the reasons they beat Dallas? Seems kind of dumb.

So I'm still waiting to learn who the Giants kicker was in both games against Dallas. The suspense is killing me.

Randy Bullock, kicking because of Josh Brown's one-game suspension, made the extra point for the lead after an earlier missed PAT.

New York beat Dallas in an opener for the first time in nine tries.

I still dont know how Josh Brown was the sole reason, because he asked who was the kicker, not the kicker in the first game. NEXT TIME CHECK YOUR POSTS.

Peyton tumbled because he got old.

Eli was never half the QB Peyton was to begin with.

Eli has thrown 71 interceptions in the past 4 seasons.

Sorry if that guy doesn't scare me. Our defense managed to shut him down last season...their defense scares me a bit but I'll take Dak in his second year over a Hankinless defense.

With their defense, you would think the Giants would invest more in their offensive line or running game, this would take pressure off of Eli, much like the Cowboys did with Romo in his final years. Instead it seems they plan to air it out more this season. That's great...that means more interceptions for Eli.

As someone else stated in this thread...they're a very oddly built team for playoff success.

Favre got old. Brady is getting old. That's doesn't mean they have neck injuries.

You say that, but didn't he step it up when it mattered even just this last year? Maybe I'm wrong...

Never doubt Eli in a playoff game, is what I'm saying. The best bet is to keep that team out at all costs.
Yep.
Never count him out and never count him in. He's been absolutely terrible in the playoffs or very good.

6 playoff trips
Laid an egg 4 times ...all one and done disasters.

But then there were the other 2......

I think they are gonna fall off from Eli he is getting worse every year, and I really think he shows his age this year also that o-line is terrible.

Eli is ripe to go on season ending IR. He has avoided the injury bug for the most part and he is past due for a planting.

His arm strength and accuracy have been and will continue to regress.

That's what I can't help wondering about. Eli's durability has been truly amazing consudering the lines in front of him and sacks he's taken. Given age, and the fact that the line wasn't significantly improved, I can't help but think that the Giants are pushing their luck and it will come back to haunt them. Much like it did with the Cowboys and Romo, even with a much better offensive line.

Coughlin and Defense was Mannings best friend. But, he did win. He is near the end now.

I hope we win the division, but on paper?

NY
Dallas
Philly
D.C.

Top two will be close, but I'm confident about 3-4

I think every team but Philly has a legitimate chance of winning the division. Carson may eventually be really good, but towards the end of the year his production tailed off significantly once teams figured him out. I think he will have rough sledding for one more year. Too many young QB mistakes for Philly to win the division. All the rest have a shot to win it.

The Giants had much the same luck as the Cowboys did last year. They won a lot of close games that made them appear a bit more dominant than they were. The defense will take a step back without Hankins. We will run on them a bit more effectively than we did last year.

ODB could easily implode. As much as I rag on Dez ODB is much more of a wild card than Dez. Dez seems to be a bit weak minded at times, but at least isn't any sort of real cancer. I think ODB could turn into a real cancer and start going malignant there.
