Another Diluted Combine Sample - Jabrill Peppers

Diluted samples have always been a way to mask issues. If the player was really just taking in too much water he could easily have an independent test done of his hair or blood to prove it.

Peppers played at UofM, and you know that deal with the Flint water. ;)

Seriously, though. I think it's water weight in Peppers' case. A lot of these guys are really undersized and underweight. You can't really do anything about size/height, but you can add a few pounds by drinking water. Maybe that's Peppers' situation.

I don't think he goes in the first anyway. He'll be a high-to-middle second-round pick.
I think he goes before 28..

If he's there at 28 grab him.

He plays about 4 positions from safety to LBer to CB if needed and punt returns..

all of which we need.

the one time EVERYONE KNOWS THEY ARE TESTING is at the combine. SO you have to wonder at the intelligence of those that fail. And it is not a long list either. The diluted thing does not happen much; so it is really doubtful Peppers is innocent.

It doesn't seem right to me how a diluted sample equals a positive test. I know if I was clean and drank a lot of water and then got popped for a diluted sample I would be pissed and speaking out about it and clearing my name.

The specific gravity of urine is greater than 1.005, usually in the rage of 1.010 to 1.025; no amount of hydration can produce a specimen approaching 1.001.

A measurement below that means it has been tampered with, and the submitter is therefore suspect.

If he's dirty, I don't want anymore of those.......until they legalize weed.

Maybe he was just being overly careful
Like heavy exposure or a little drag couple weeks prior

So not only does he not have a position but he is in the league's drug program. Yeah, not going there if I'm McClay. Definitely not in the first two rounds.

These first round prospects have hired personal trainers and in some cases full agencies to help with everything down to their hand position at the start of the 40. It's ludicrous to think that they don't know the testing procedures and such ahead of time. To believe that this was just bad luck when he decided to drink a painful amount of water is inane. That's the type of enabling behavior that leads to picks like Randy Gregory or a continued faith in Josh Gordon. What was that Wisconsin running back that got caught using a prosthetic, um, "hose" during his drug test? I'm sure there would be some that believed it was just some sort of sex toy.

Just hope Reality doesn't start random testing us here.
My sample will be deluted..

err..

polluted..

how about yours?

I go straight to the commish with Pepper's selection card immediately.

1st pick.

I think some of you guys are confused as to how much water we are talking about, this is not drinking a couple of Ozarka water bottles every hour while working out and you get popped for a diluted. We are talking about chugging the whole dam water cooler here............gallons, not bottles, is what we are talking about here.

This is also extremely dangerous, as consuming large quantities of water in a very short time frame can lead to water poisoning and death. People have died from "water contests" where the winner is who chugs the most water.

Foster in the 1st, Peppers in the 2nd. Let's do this. It's gonna be lit!

If they test for creatinine, then you will likely have lower than normal levels of it after flushing. This is going to be hard to explain, as it is a highly probable indication that you have been trying to flush your system to clean up your urine.

Alternating water with sports drinks though, can be a good solution. It can help to clean up the urine and to pass toxins faster, all while helping you to keep decent enough creatinine levels.

Increase Creatinine
The body naturally produces creatinine, and you can also buy supplements at most health food stores. Increasing the amount of creatinine in your urine may help with diluting various types of drugs in the system. For the best results, you do need to start about 48 hours before the test will take place. If you have a shorter window of time, it can be more difficult to do successfully. Keep in mind that many tests for drugs also will identify the level of creatinine present.

If it is spiking off the charts, it can be a red flag. However, you can always tell them that you are involved with using the supplement for a very strict diet and workout regiment. If you are in decent shape, this could be a believable story that will at least buy you some time before a second test is conducted.
