Was Pacheco 5'6, 175lbs running a 4.56 forty?Or the 31 that passed on Pacheco last year.

You continue with the Barry Sanders comparisons. Sanders was a top three pick so everyone knew he had a chance to be special. Sanders was a bigger, faster back than Vaughn. Defensive players are a lot bigger and faster these days, which makes it more difficult to run the football. There’s a reason RBs aren’t as coveted as they once were.He did get stuffed. Just like every back. I remember watching Barry Sanders get stuffed at OK St. and some wondered if he would be ok in the pros. Then he got stuffed at Detroit. Last time I checked he turned out to be a decent back.
Exactly where did I compare him to Barry Sanders? Deuce isn't Barry Sanders in any way.You continue with the Barry Sanders comparisons.
Continuing to bring up Barry Sanders and Vaughn is a comparison. Why can’t you get that? You’re not saying Vaughn is as good as Sanders, I get that, but you keep mentioning them together. That’s a comparison!Exactly where did I compare him to Barry Sanders? Deuce isn't Barry Sanders in any way.
I was just pointing out Vaughn wouldn't be the first RB to get stuffed in college or the pros.
Did Pacheco have anywhere near the college career that Vaughn had?Was Pacheco 5'6, 175lbs running a 4.56 forty?
What ever you say boss.Continuing to bring up Barry Sanders and Vaughn is a comparison.
Sorry but Sproles is not "much quicker"No, he doesnt compare to Sproles. Sproles was a little taller and 15 lbs heavier. Plus he was much quicker. Plus he actually returned punts and KOs in college.
You WANT to compare the two, but there is nothing to compare except that both were very short. One being even shorter.
It’s been posted that Vaughn gets stuffed a lot and you mentioned Sanders got stuffed a lot. It seems like every time someone has something negative to say about Vaughn you bring up Sanders. That’s a comparison! You obviously see some similarities between the two. What ever you say boss.
Ive been here, listening to all the hype and supposed comparisons. Rebuking as many as I can keep up with.Don’t know where you’ve been, but practically everyone is comparing Vaughn with Darren Sproles. Sproles was only an inch taller and about 10 to 15 pounds heavier. Two players don’t have to be exactly the same size to be compared. This is just a small sampling of the comparisons between the two. Some of the links I can’t even post because they’re banned here. Go do a Google and see all the comparisons between Sproles and Vaughn, then come back and tell me they’re not comparable. Lol

I don’t compare him to Sproles, more of a Dave Megget type.I wouldn’t go so far as to say no one wants him but us. Maybe no one wanted to give up a draft pick for him, but they’ll certainly take him off the practice squad and give him an opportunity. He has a lot of ability, but his size is a concern. He compares with Darren Sproles so someone would give him a chance.
If you’ve been here listening to the hype, then you’ve seen the Darren Sproles comparisons. It’s hard to miss them, so don’t tell me he doesn’t compare to Sproles, when the fans and even those who get paid to talk football are comparing the two. I don’t think Vaughn is going to be nearly as good as some fans think he will be. Some are going way overboard! I’m pulling for him, but I think his size is going to be an issue.Ive been here, listening to all the hype and supposed comparisons. Rebuking as many as I can keep up with.
I cant wait for the Deuce Excuse threads once the pre season games start.
That seems the sensible way to be. He is sub 180 lbs playing arguably the most grueling position in sports.I'm a bit of a Deuce skeptic, but I do believe he would be poached if left exposed on the practice squad. There are some weak teams that would grab him just to take a look.
I've said since draft day that Turpin was gone the moment they drafted Deuce, so I agree with the above comments on this.
I was being facetious. What makes you think that?
Admitting that you are just being a reactionary contrarian destroys your reliability.Ive been here, listening to all the hype and supposed comparisons. Rebuking as many as I can keep up with.

Oh, I know they are comparing the two. I just dont agree. If you’ve been here listening to the hype, then you’ve seen the Darren Sproles comparisons. Don’t see how you don’t agree. The very first thing I thought when I saw Deuce Vaughn run was Darren Sproles. Not sure I’ve ever seen two players compare so favorably.Oh, I know they are comparing the two. I just dont agree.
LOL Sure. My reliability is of no concern. Im not a decision maker on this team.Admitting that you are just being a reactionary contrarian destroys your reliability.
They do compare, but I see a lot more Darren Sproles in Vaughn.I don’t compare him to Sproles, more of a Dave Megget type.
Sproles was basically a return guy in the NFL. I posted his stats in another thread. His peak couple if years in the league he still only had around 9 touches a game.Don’t see how you don’t agree. The very first thing I thought when I saw Deuce Vaughn run was Darren Sproles. Not sure I’ve ever seen two players compare so favorably.
