No matter how important you think you are.. you don't have even a 1/1000000th say in what Zeke paid as. He's paid to do what the coaches ask him to do.. which he does very well.

Ah look, it's Ronnie.

I guarantee Zeke is gone after this season if he doesn't take a pay cut and that happens because he's playing far far far below his pay grade.

Keep whining all you want, doesn't change his playing time... and his status with his teammates and coaches.

LOL yes, I'm sure his teammates and coaches loving him while playing far below the contract he was given will save him in the offseason.

This!

Top running backs (Henry, Cook ) are getting 12.5m per season and he's a rung down from that. For how he's performing his base salary needs to be about 8m IMO.

It’s amazing how low our standards are now for Zeke…

Getting him the books should be one of the biggest priorities of the team after this year.

It was a good game for Zeke (not great as you say), but it was still a better game for Pollard

I don't know if I'd say it was better game for Pollard.. Zeke's average would have been a lot higher (and Pollard's a lot lower) if they swapped places on the short yardage and goal line carries. Still in all, I think most coaches would take touchdowns over yards.. But let me state openly that I thought Pollard ran tough inside again in this game. He's not the chain mover that Zeke is but he's no slouch on the inside runs. He just doesn't possess Zeke's power to move bodies.. though that one where he turned around backwards and pushed the pile for 5 yards was pretty impressive. Clearly he's been hittin the squat rack. Both guys excelled in their roles again.. And as a result helped our team win..

I don't know if it would be a lot different, but admittedly that is a factor that affected the numbers.

I agree about Pollard running inside. And I'm honestly not sure he isn't the chain mover Zeke is. Zeke is clearly the stronger of the two, but he doesn't do nearly as good a job f finding at least some glimmer of a crack to cut toward and reduce some of the resistance along the line of scrimmage, and as a result he is hitting a more solid wall of bodies than Pollard. Pollard also seems to do a better job keeping his legs pumping and churning. The pile seems to move around him more than with Zeke.

He deserves more Carrie’s to get a few 100 yard games.
It will come. If we stay our course and go into the playoffs....we will absolutely NEED Zeke's fierce durability and commitment. If Dak can get us ahead...for a change....we feed zeke and he will show people he's a power back you feed 20+ times a game.

Time for Dak to pay back Zeke.

Pollard is GREAT "in space" away from the o line. He has burst and wiggle.

But we still have to pound it up the middle...and pick up the block to protect the QB.

Use both.

Only 3 RBs ever in Cowboys storied franchise history have 20 or more multiple TD games.

You guys need to be better fans.

Zeke is closest thing on team to a guarantee in the redzone and short yardage.

TP is a home run or a foul tip threat every time he gets the ball, and that's not reliable or winning football on 3rd and short or on goal line.

The OL love run blocking but they all trust and love Zeke.

Better fans? How am I being a bad fan by sayin Zeke has a good game?

It wasn’t great. 3.8 yards per carry for 58 yards is not great even with the two TD’s. It’s just not.

I wouldn’t call it a great game. It was a good game.

That’s the rub though. You can’t pay a RB 15 mil to be good. He has to be great.

I think 90% of today's rbs would've been out injured after Zeke hurt his knee on that hit later in the game. His durability is under appreciated.

I’m going to keep doing this until you all start putting respect to his name!

Not a huge fan of Fisher, but he said it best when he described the Zeke vs. Pollard nonsense.

Zeke gets the tough yards and sets up Pollard.

Zeke needs Pollard, and Pollad needs Zeke.

That said, I'm down to roll with the PS guy next year if Zeke's price is that high after his contract is up.

We should let him hit the market, and go from there.

And on Que here it tiz !!!!!!!

Why ya'll so full of haterade ?????

Drink up ichbay

The thing he doesn't understand is that those yards on those plays are actually by design.

3.8 YPC is actually 11.4 yards. Enough to keep getting you 1st downs while also keeping the defense honest while also setting up Pollard.

Perspective is important. He had three goal-line carries and two of them went for TDs (and the other for a first down). That affects YPC, but I'd much rather have two TDs than 4-plus YPC with no TDs.

Thank You! I notice you always make informed posts...

TP doesn't score those TDs or pick up the short tough yards.

Cowboys tried in first half then went back to Zeke in 2nd half. Results were night and day.

Dirty yards by definition are not pretty.

He deserves it? Why exactly? The offense is better with a 2 headed approach. Taking carries away from Pollard because Zeke "deserves" it is completely ridiculous. If Zeke wants 100 yard games he should rip off longer runs. Like he used to before he got paid.

Zeke had 6 runs for first downs in his 15 carries.. I believe Pollard had 2 first downs in his 12 carries. That's kinda the definition of one guy being better at moving the chains. And Pollard had chances on a couple of short yardage and goal line runs and came away empty.
