The appeal hearing is set for tomorrow no?
Sounds like they are gearing up for a court battle if and when the appeal goes south

War daddy? Lol he didnt help Brady. Like it or not Zeke won't win in the courts. He has a better chance getting it reduced by Henderson than winning in court.
depends on how you define "win" in this situation..
hypothetically let's say the injunction is accepted and it goes to court. Zeke plays all season / post season during litigation. Boys win SB while Zeke being a big part. Do you think Zeke and the Dallas Cowboys would consider that a "win"? I do..

but for the record, no I don't think they will "win" their lawsuit against the NFL

Why do people insist on using Brady as the measuring stick? (Not calling you out Liitle Jr.) He broke the rules of the game, and destroyed evidence.

Zeke has been wrongfully accused with proof, and will not be pursued in the court of law entirely different situations and arguments. Goodell and crew failed to even consider that, and have gone as far as not allowing her notes and things in during the appeal. He is being railroaded by the league to appease other groups and people.

There is no timetable for the NFL to rule on the appeal's hearing. How many think the decision is announced after the Giants game?

I hate to admit it, but you're probably right. Not because I don't like you, it's the truth I don't like. Brady kind of blazed the trail and the ruling upholding his suspension likely set precedent for Goodell as benevolent dictator unless Zeke's team has an ace up their sleeve, which I doubt. Sad too as I overpaid for Zeke in my fantasy league hoping he'd get maybe 2 games.

Bluff tactics? I think they both settle with 3 game suspension and move on. Don't see either side wanting this one to smell up the NFL any worse than it has.
I think it stands and they are lock-step on it.
I absolutely don't agree with this, but I see it and I think it's happening.

6 games. Learn your lesson Zeke. Time to grow up. I feel you- I've been there and I'm still paying. Stop losing what you have no reason to lose.

If it plays out like Brady did and Zeke plays all year then they draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th round next year that makes it much easier to get by without Zeke, then I'd call it a huge win.

No he has a better chance of winning it court. In court you have real judges, and real evidence produced by both parties of an argument. None of this banana appeal system and investigative team which the NFL has setup as an extravagant witch hunt just to appease the public.

Kessler is a good lawyer. He is respected and judges actually listen to his case. He made the NFL look like fools and exposed them for their lies.

If Brady wanted to he could have taken this to the supreme court and win. Besides this isn't Deflategate.

This is a totally different set of circumstances in which several witnesses and sworn affidavits written favor Zeke. The NFL will have a tougher time with this case then they did with Deflategate.

You are overly optimistic. Bless you.

If it is, then he plays week one.

I believe he is suspended until further notice. The appeals hearing is to determine if the suspension and amount of games is justified. They cannot file court papers until the a decision has been made. So I would think if they take awhile to announce their decision then Zeke could miss games regardless.

If they file quick they can get an court injunction within 24 hours. I think the wheels are in motion for that injunction to happen. So Zeke might be able to play the first game.

The appeal at this point is a step they have to take and to gain more traction for what I think is the ultimate goal which is court. This case is nothing like Brady's.
