This year, we had to face the #1, #2, #3, and #7 defenses. The record this year is more of a result of the defenses that we played than anything else.

but what good is a team if they can only beat the lower-ranked defenses?! and this is not just any team - it's jerry's fantasy team of his dreams! offensive firepower, the greates ever assembled! where the rest of the nfl should shake in fear: romo, owens, witten, williams, barber, etc.

you mean this team great only for beating detroit?!

I don't blame Romo for the loss. I look at the game and see he is on of the biggest reason we lost. And not only yesterday. This counts for the whole season.

But to answer your question. I'd rather have Bollinger at QB then Romo right now. Just because with Bollinger i know what i get - a cheap quaterback who will win eventually one or two easy games for you.

With Romo i get a QB who wins all games he is supposed to win and kills your team big time when it counts. In the end he leaves you with empty hands AND pockets (see his contract). he gets paid like an all pro but plays like an medicore QB. Now he starts blaming the scheme and i can't deny the feeling that everytime he chokes on the field he has his injury in place to put the blame on. To me he has become more and more of a celeberity QB - he hasn't delivered at all when it counted but he talks in front of the media like he has invented football and the QB position.

Like Dukes said this kid right now is a coach killer. We have a talented coach at OC who just needs some time to develope his skills. Everybody talks about Romos talent but i haven't seen it this season. He plays good against medicore defenses but when he has toplay against good to great ones it seems the game is just a bit too fast for him.

I think Romo can be a good QB he even has the potential to be a great one - if coached right. But the coach who made him is long gone (BP) and without him Romo seems to live habits BP has warned him of.

As i mentioned Romo is a good QB but thats not enough for me when i look at the way we payed him and what we hoped of him. I'd rather have a medicore QB who gets paid like one then having a good one who plays only good in easy games and in the end kills all of your hopes you fought hard for.

NOT EVEN CLOSE.

2009 UFA QB's

Kurt Warner, UFA, Arizona Cardinals
Matt Cassel, UFA, New England Patriots
Jeff Garcia, UFA, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rex Grossman, UFA, Chicago Bears
Kyle Boller, UFA, Baltimore Ravens
Charlie Batch, UFA, Pittsburgh Steelers
Kerry Collins, UFA, Tennessee
J.P. Losman, UFA, Buffalo Bills
Patrick Ramsey, UFA, Denver Broncos

To be honest, any of these guys would be an upgrade to replace Johnson. However, Warner is the most proven of this bunch and still holds a 94 QB rating. Oh yeah, he's also a former SB MVP award winner and a 2 time league MVP award winner. Put good talent around him and a healthy Warner can shred any defense. With Warner licking his chops about playing in our new stadium, Romo will be more focused on his ball security and overall game management....I guarantee it!

Best college QB's

Matthew Stafford, Georgia, Jr.
Mark Sanchez, USC, Jr.
Sam Bradford, Oklahoma, So.
Josh Freeman, Kansas St., Jr.
Nate Davis, Ball St. Jr.
Tim Tebow, Florida, Jr.
Rhett Bomar, Sam Houston St
Cullen Harper, Clemson
Graham Harrell, Texas Tech
Chase Daniel, Missouri
Hunter Cantwell, Louisville
Rudy Carpenter, Arizona St.
Curtis Painter, Purdue
John Parker Wilson, Alabama

I like Bomar's potential and he'll probably be there with our last pick. I'd rather draft him than compete with other teams as UDFA. Bollinger's replacement as 3rd stringer shouldn't be that difficult and I think Bomar is a good prospect to groom.

I have NO PROBLEM with Romo, anyone who does than I don't know what to tell you other than he is the last of our problems. When Romo gets time he's a very good QB. We would not have a team if it wasn't for Romo we would be back to the days of the 5-11 days real quick without Romo.

What's the difference between being 5-11 and not in the playoffs then 9-7 and not in the playoffs or going 13-3 and losing in the 1st round. I'm not defending Romo anymore. His problem is, he's not hungry anymore he's doesn't have to fight to keep his *** on the roster. The boy has gone Hollywood.
