An old friend of mine was really close to him. She is in the process of filming her own cooking show for Food Network and he was her mentor/advisor for it.

She is absolutely crushed right now and said he had his demons but never saw this coming.

Almost all genius has demons. Every plus has a minus. It took me 40 years to figure that out and work to not only love myself, for who I am, but also love my wife, for who she wants me to be.
