No matter how poorly/lucky the Eagles have been playing most of the year nobody saw this collapse happen. Nobody saw us losing to the Cards...this proves anything can happen, and MM should have his team ready to play a team who packed it in by trading their top DE's instead of building around them further

While I pick the Cowboys to win, I'm nervous that everybody and their dog are basically assuming that we've already secured the #2 NFC seed in the playoffs. No one has even suggested the Commanders have a chance in this game. I find that odd. After all, it's a road game, the Cowboys offense haven't looked great since the Eagles game. Of course I'm not suggesting the Cowboys shouldn't win, but I'm not seeing a blowout. I think the Commanders make it tough for most of the game. What say you?
Yes they can win. They almost beat the Eagles twice. Commanders offense is also pretty good. If Dallas doesn't do anything offensively they could lose.

I think the Cowboys win this game and have the potential to blow the commanders out, NFC East teams tend to play each other tough though so we'll see. I hope the boys take the intensity from all the BS over their lions win and just stomp the commanders and then ride that momentum into the playoffs. I always have hope, been a fan since the 70's so I have seen a lot from Cowboys teams over the years.

Yes, there is. We have lost two of the last three games and barely won our last one at home. Why people think this is a lock is beyond me. We will be on the road, in questionable weather and our run game has been lacking. Commanders have been playing better with Brissett. Anything can happen.

We will be up by 21 at the half. Eagles will see this and probably sit their starters so they can be rested for their 1st round exit.

We lost 26-6 to them in the last game of last season. Dak played and was awful.

Sure they can and I wouldn't be surprised if we laid an egg

I think Dallas pulls away after a close-ish first half.

Say, Dallas 34 Washington 16

Let's not talk it into existence. Just be the better team as we are and take care of business.

I don't know what team people have been watching the last 29 years. Of course there is a chance they beat us and it's not as though this team has performed tip-top when on the road this year, now have they?

One thing not in our favor is the weather… supposed to be a coastal storm with rain snow and wind…. However I think it clears out Sunday morning. Still may not be ideal weather conditions.

I do not understand the whole "THIS IS THEIR SUPER BOWL!" business. What does that mean? It's the last game of the season for them? They have one of those every year (a final game). Do they bring out some sort of special band to play at halftime? Is there a trophy with a big pig nose mounted on it?

It's the last game of another debacle season. They know their coach is going to be gone within 48 hours. There's a great incentive for any upcoming free agent to avoid injury at all costs. Guys have their offseason plans all teed up. Do the people preaching this Super Bowl nonsense come into work the last day of a terrible job where morale is low and make sure they're in the parking garage by 6:45 a.m.? Do they schedule stacked up meetings, skip lunch, give a quick motivational talk to the team in the conference room and stay past dinner just to make sure nothing is left to chance for the next guy? My guess is they probably down a 40 on the ride in, take at least 4 solid bathroom breaks before noon, have a few shots at lunch at Hooters, then make sure to steal as many pens and other office supplies as they can before hopping in the car WAY ahead of any rush hour traffic.

But yeah, I'm sure that guys on the Commanders will be powering through high ankle sprains or playing like Emmitt with a separated shoulder in the Giants game. Makes perfect sense.

Both teams have to deal with it, injuries are worse for us obviously.

Washington has nothing to lose but draft position, and I'm not sure even that, depending on who else wins.

Division games are nearly always tough, I foresee a lot of trick plays, lots of different looks and so forth. Washington will pull out all the stops.

Meanwhile Dallas will probably not have Tyler Smith on the field, the talk of his maybe being ready is just to keep Washington having to prepare for Smith to be in, or for his backup to play. Road game, on grass, weather cold and probably raining. Dallas is built for speed, not the type of conditions conducive to a fast team.

I also expect Dallas to win, but if we've learned anything at all this year, it's that Dallas plays poorly on the road.

Washington's run game is poor, only 1,547 yards, their top rusher nowhere near 1,000 yarrds. Run game gives Dallas the most trouble, so that's good.
And with the division title on the line, that should put Dallas over the top.

Imho, of course!
