It will be rough on the first half but the Cowboys will take command (NPI) in the second half.

Cowboys always beat themselves, so I sure hope they are taking this game as serious as it deserves, Big Mac and Q better take care of that.

Any chance? Based on historical events it’s almost expected. I have faith this team gets it done.

While I pick the Cowboys to win, I'm nervous that everybody and their dog are basically assuming that we've already secured the #2 NFC seed in the playoffs. No one has even suggested the Commanders have a chance in this game. I find that odd. After all, it's a road game, the Cowboys offense haven't looked great since the Eagles game. Of course I'm not suggesting the Cowboys shouldn't win, but I'm not seeing a blowout. I think the Commanders make it tough for most of the game. What say you?
Sod. Timpering rubbish, ruffian!
I was wondering when the usual "Is this a trap game?" thread would appear.
I want to tell you I am sick, sick, sicky, sick of it!
heh.

Brian Robinson and Gibson is definitely capable of shredding the cowboys up . I don’t think it will happen but it’s definitely something to be concerned with

I think the cowboys are in playoff mode but they are flawed especially on the road

If they avoid dumb penalties and the offense puts up 30 I think we’re good
Do you think DQ will play any linebackers on Sunday? That novel concept will help the run defense.

Remember they are slotted in the 2 spot in the draft. A win drops them down to 7/8. Don’t think they want to lose this spot
This^^^^^ in fact, management may take the decision out of Riveria's hands by forcing him to sit key starters..........keep an eye on inactive

The Cowboys can't afford to take any team for granted with the playoffs looming. Ending their season with a win should only serve them well. A letdown at this time wouldn't serve their confidence well -- that's for sure. We need to go into the playoffs on a positive note for all concerned.
The Commanders will be loose with nothing to lose. They'd like nothing better than to ruin our mojo at this point. Balls to the wall. :flagwave:

Cracks me up seeing fans talk about draft position, despite late season upsets happening every year, as if the players care about draft position.

Some of those guys won't even be on the team next season. Some of those draft picks could take their job. Players don't care about that, at all.

I think we will win because we have more talent and is overall a better team. What concerns me is:
A. They have nothing to lose. I hate playing teams with nothing to lose. They play looser.
B. We gave them a lot of motivation with our celebrations on thanksgiving. Specifically eating turkey legs in front of them with game still going. Their players could have taken that personally and would like to ruin our playoffs.
C. It’s an away game and on grass.

I think we’ll win but I’m really hoping Dallas isn’t reading its own clippings on this one and brings the intensity of a playoff game. That’s on McCarthy right there. I truly believe this is a good test for Big Mike. I hope he passes it.

If we don't have any more pride than to play like losers vs. these clowns, we don't deserve to win anyway! Let's Go, Cowboys!

When Dallas went 1-15, their only win was against Washington.

Don't underestimate the motivation of a rivalry.

I follow them and have a lot of close friends who are fans of theirs (grew up in DC).

They haven’t played well on either side. But they are loaded with playmakers. McLaurin, Dotson, Samuel, Gibson, Robinson.

Defense isn’t great, but Fuller always gives us fits.

Remember they are slotted in the 2 spot in the draft. A win drops them down to 7/8. Don’t think they want to lose this spot
They have the worst defense in football and it isn’t close imo.

I learned a long time ago that anything CAN happen in the NFL. Doesn’t mean it will happen.

Dallas should win this game going away. But again, it’s the NFL. Do I believe the Cowboys will win? Yes, absolutely. Do I believe it’s possible they lay an egg Sunday? Yes it’s possible. But I don’t think they will.

The most important mindset has nothing to do with us on these opinion boards. It is in the minds of those players and coaches.
The thing I come back to is that Washington’s defense is far worse than it was last year at this time. Anything can happen of course, but I fully expect a victory Sunday.

with this soft mentaly weak team and bad coaching yes

there is a very good chance they lose they prolly think they already won and if washington come out and punch them in the mouth cowboys will lose

i do not trust them one bit!
This team is one of the toughest damn teams I’ve ever seen. Mentally and physically. Do they make dumb decisions some times. Yes, but that has no bearing on how tough they are.
If you’re gonna spew something, at least make it be remotely true.

It would practically redeem them in the eyes of their fans.

You may not believe this but there was a time when the only thing better than beating the Cowboys was a Super Bowl. George Allen made sure we hated them just as much as they hated us.

The rivalry may not be as strong but I guarantee the most vocal Washington fans are the ones that remember the past bloodbaths. The animosity is cemented in a violent, ruthless, merciless, entertaining history.

Washington knows and we should know that if they win, it's another notch in that NFC East tradition.....If you can't win it, take a division rival down with you.

Your team could be defending SB champs and the other at the bottom the league and it wouldn't matter. If your team isn't completely focused, it's an "L".

Any Cowboys fan is going to have a mental list of the Washington Don't-say-my-name games in which a last second play determined the fate of both teams.
