Ron Rivera might be a bridge too far. That might be it for me. Thankfully, thus far his name has not come up.

I'd feel most confident that Aaron Glenn would be the best decision maker for the Cowboys. I do fear that he won't be available when it's our turn to secure him before another team does. Jerry and Stephen will still be in charge of things in the front office, so that takes much of the optimism away that might otherwise be appreciated. My expectations will be kept at arm's length, knowing that we aren't too likely to improve into what would be a miraculous return to playoff-type winning ways. However, that entertainment will likely remain a pleasure to enjoy in 2025.
looks like Aaron Glenn is likely headed to NYJ

I want Saleh. All others I've heard mentioned will be a disappointment.

The offseason, then the Dak signing and now this ridiculous coaching search. This is a front office that can't be taken seriously no matter who they hire at coach. Winning simply isn't the priority here. They don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in.

If you want Saleh...why not just go with the Notre Dame guy.

They seem similar to me. No clue if ND guy is O-minded or D-minded...but they seem similar and I like the play calls by ND for that last game even though they lost. It was creative, or at least something you dont see a lot of coaches doing...running the QB.

I think running the QB is a disadvantage to defenses and will catch up to the NFL soon.

I like Saleh, even though I only know he is a defense guy, but seems like he would connect with players well.

I just don't follow college football enough to know anything about him.

He would probably kill it...everyone dumbfounded...haters buying caskets, headstones and tomb land.

Its only right for shock value.

Jerry come down from the box and grab the clipboard and just kill it with decisions on all 3 phases.

Problem is...it would be exposed as a scam because the players would have to implement a new offense perfectly as if they had been practicing it in private...which make it all fake or show some hive mind allegiance stuff that doesnt register with me as a flex.

I dont know anything about him other than the pre-game yesterday and the plays i liked in the first quarter. I fell asleep after that.

He seems to be a motivator...and I got that from about 15 minutes of the pre-game. Through tv footage of interviews, live interviews before the game and tv showing how he operates.

Doesnt mean he is great. But i liked the play calls he allowed in the first quarter. Everyone eats Jimmy's shorts around here for being a motivator. So...why not this guy?

Why not? I dont care. None of the is real to me...and the World will zig when I zag. I have nothing to do but to play along. God isnt great.

Hello Fellow Sufferers. 30 years of futility is really making me apathetic with my Cowboy fandom. Last year's debacle of an offseason caused me to cancel a trip to see the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. I refused to give Jerry Jones one penny of my hard earned money. That would have been my first time seeing it and was really looking forward to it. I live in Eagles country and their dominance makes it even worse. I didnt even watch a Cowboys game last year until Thanksgiving because I was so disgusted with the direction of the team.
Which leads me to my question: Is there a Head Coach hire to replace Big Mike that would cause you to throw up your hands and say no more? At least until Jerry Jones is no longer calling the shots? For me, it's Kellen Moore, Brian Schottenheimer or Jason Witten. Any of those 3 as our head coach tells me it's gonna be more of the same moving forward. Jerry Jones does not wanna get better, he just wants to retain control and bring in someone that allows him to do so.
Any of those 3 become the next coach and that's it for me until Jones is gone. Anyone else this disgusted? Which hire would cause you to throw your hands up and walk away?

It looks like it's gonna be Schottenheimer who has never been a head coach and hasnt been interviewed by anyone else. This is disgusting and shows ineptitude and a disdain for what the fans of his team want. Anyone wanna buy some Cowboy's jersey and hats??

so...this convo is getting really corny...a lot of hoopla about nothing, as always...

Can anyone tell me why Kellen Moore, whom proved to get guys open with us and then mysteriously disappeared....why Jerry would not want him here?

Why would Jerry neuter an OC that is winning? Why would and OC stop calling good plays? For a General?

Nothing makes sense here. Lots of talking about nothing and side stepping important facts. WHy? Rage baiting?

Jerry has put good talent on the field. His current defense plays hard team tackling. Decent QB with decent offensive talent. Why is the play calling being sabotaged?

Bueller? Reverse phycology? Bueller?

Nothing in this space makes sense...yet everyone wants me to believe it. Virtual insanity is your goal? Sad
