Nope. I lived thru the Chan Gailey and Dave Campo years. I can live thru whomever Jerry hires. Is there a Head Coach hire to replace Big Mike that would cause you to throw up your hands and say no more?

Looking at Jerry's choices to replace him, he's probably the best one out there.Jerry is so predictable that if he was to rehire Mike McCarthy next week, it wouldnt change my pulse one bit
I feel ya. I've been a fan since 1970. Live and breathe Cowboys. Makes me so mad to see that ******* ruining our proud franchise. No checks and balances for bad performance. I cannot stand that man!!< Tagline
Jerry Jones could finally stop living vicariously through his head coaches and become one himself. Even that ultimate nonsense would not do the trick.
I became a Dallas Cowboys fan fifty years ago and will die as one. Nothing Jones (or his DNA kids) can do will prevent me from following the franchise that I fell in love with long before he got his paws on it.
It wasnt so much that loss, it was the disastrous offseason that followed where everyone else in the division got better and we sat on our hands and watched.I have been quasi-tuned out since the 2023 loss to the Packers in the wildcard round. They won't spark my full interest again until they start making smart football decisions and parlay that to looking like a contender on the field. It's looking like this is going to take a while.
No..Hello Fellow Sufferers. 30 years of futility is really making me apathetic with my Cowboy fandom. Last year's debacle of an offseason caused me to cancel a trip to see the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. I refused to give Jerry Jones one penny of my hard earned money. That would have been my first time seeing it and was really looking forward to it. I live in Eagles country and their dominance makes it even worse. I didnt even watch a Cowboys game last year until Thanksgiving because I was so disgusted with the direction of the team.
Which leads me to my question: Is there a Head Coach hire to replace Big Mike that would cause you to throw up your hands and say no more? At least until Jerry Jones is no longer calling the shots? For me, it's Kellen Moore, Brian Schottenheimer or Jason Witten. Any of those 3 as our head coach tells me it's gonna be more of the same moving forward. Jerry Jones does not wanna get better, he just wants to retain control and bring in someone that allows him to do so.
Any of those 3 become the next coach and that's it for me until Jones is gone. Anyone else this disgusted? Which hire would cause you to throw your hands up and walk away?

Not to be the bad news wagon but....until the center piece owner changes its gonna be more of the same...Hello Fellow Sufferers. 30 years of futility is really making me apathetic with my Cowboy fandom. Jerr hasn't even invited him for a cup of coffee...Glenn isn't coming anywhere near hereI'd feel most confident that Aaron Glenn would be the best decision maker for the Cowboys. I do fear that he won't be available when it's our turn to secure him before another team does. Jerry and Stephen will still be in charge of things in the front office, so that takes much of the optimism away that might otherwise be appreciated. My expectations will be kept at arm's length, knowing that we aren't too likely to improve into what would be a miraculous return to playoff-type winning ways. However, that entertainment will likely remain a pleasure to enjoy in 2025.
Funny, ain't it? The two hottest names on the market and neither have been invited for an interviewJerr hasn't even invited him for a cup of coffee...Glenn isn't coming anywhere near here
Are kidding, I've adjusted to the comedy of the Jerry and Stephen finding new ways to be terrible at building a football team.
Would be the most entertainment I've had in about 30 years. I woul even try and watch all the games. What if Jerry hired himself as the HC? I would definitely not tune out just for possibly the best train wreck ever.
