Larry Allen wasn't a bully. Erik Williams was a bully.

Exactly. Allen is (was) incredibly strong, but nobody had a mean-streak like Erik Williams. I think he would've been more dominant than Allen if he hadn't gotten hurt and I think Allen will go down as the best O-Lineman of his era.

Then why aren't more players benching 700 lbs.? Look at the crowd of professional players around him when he put up 43 reps at the Pro Bowl as they were all shaking their heads with amazement. Its clear they respect him, even if you don't.

Nobody could block Reggie White successfully without help because he had the club move down to an art and would literally lift tackles off the ground.

If he could be blocked one on one he wouldn't be in the Hall of Fame on his first try.

That's like saying, "First Ballot HOFer running backs don't get held to negative yardage in playoff games." I'm not usually one to get worked up when Skins fans make comments on here, in fact I usually prefer them to the blind-optimism that runs rampant amongst Cowboys fans, but your comments betray a startling ignorance in your football knowledge. Williams' early-90's dominance, let alone his routine manhandling of White, was fairly well-known, even amongst the most casual of fans.

He could be if you made him mad enough.

One time when the Cowboys were playing the Lions I saw a play where LA blew Shaun Rogers about 5 yards straight backwards and pancaked him on the ground. While Rogers was laying with his stomach on the ground, LA climbed on top of him and seemed to simulate a very intimate act on him which reminded me of a scene from Oz. Rogers sat out the next two series.
