Any panic yet?

  • Gregory is real good. I hope he doesn't get into more trouble
  • One more injury on the Oline and we are in big time trouble. The backups aren't very good.
  • Looney is serviceable. He's probably the best backup Olineman we have
  • Give mike white a little more time and an Oline and i believe he supplants Rush as number 2 next year
  • The run defense look iffy at times
  • We played sloppy and without discipline. You don't have 8 turnovers regardless if it's a preseason game or not. It's a preseason game for all the teams
  • Eric Bjornson would be the #1 tight end on this team.
No need to panic. That's just a word to get the posters riled up. You can be concerned and not necessarily panicked.
Gregory looked really good. He may have put it together finally.

If we have another O-Lineman go out with a bad injury we will be screwed for sure. Rest our guys up and maybe a little extra rest during the season for Tyron. Pick up some depth after these cuts.

Looney made a mistake but also played well over all. He is gonna do fine.

We got gashed more than once last night in the run game. Was nice to see Richard on the sidelines yelling and screaming. I like the passion. Will be the next DC.

I was total shock with the amount of turn overs. It just kept getting worse. 8 is not even close to acceptable. The first punt fumble was on Jones not paying attention. After that just bad decisions.

Wondering now about Rico. They continue to give the other TE first team work and he isn’t seeing much action until bubble players are out there. He played well but the staff must know more than they are really telling us.

I hope our Defense shows up like this in regular season. Just get that run D tightened up. What a boost for the team. And us. Lol

Don't you love these 8 plus year rebuilds?

Who says they're rebuilding, it's preseason, if you were looking for anything last night with 1 starter on the Oline, a green backup qb, a backup RB vs a first team defense, Then you don't understand football.

Expanding rosters expands cost - not likely the owners would go for that. Any change would have to increase revenue or be seen as bottom-line neutral, at worst.
it costs very little though (relatively speaking) because you are talking about rookies & low end players. I hear what you are saying about the owners and not trying to dismiss it but if you looked at how empty most of the stadiums were, its not hard to think they could make it up. Also, you have to factor in that other events could be held at the stadium if you weren't having a preseason game.

Anyway, I'm sure it will be resisted (probably won't happen) but I think it would be the better option for the good of the game.

Won’t be JG it will be Linehan, he is this seasons scapegoat.

Considering he was at the root of running a couple of homegrown silver and blue bloods out, he should be. He has his guys on offense at least, and if they don't get it done, then he should be the scapegoat.

Owners at last CBA were pushing 18 game season, NFLPA did not want any part of it without roster size increase as well as a larger percentage of revenue. Myself I have mixed emotion, 16 games as it stands is hard to get through a season healthy as is. 18 games I think only makes it harder.

Just more disappointment for me. Same things JG coached teams are known for. I've become numb to them. Only coaching going on seems to be on the defensive side of the ball around here.

Linehan runs the offense. If the offense struggles and the defense shines, JG will be credited with both just the same.

Any panic yet? just Quack when pressured. Should be a lot of panic this year if the one guy on the offensive line goes down..
