Wow. He inherited an OU offensive system that has worked nearly 2 decades before he arrived. He worked with 3 Heisman QBs in a row. He beat up on inferior Big 12 competition with his 5 star players across the board. He's not innovative. He's not some offensive genius. He's Garrett 2.0. His system is nothing more than to out talent the opposition. His QBs get all day to throw in conference play because Big 12 defenses are trash and provide zero pressure.
I judge Riley on what his offenses do when they actually face defenses like Bama and LSU whom will be close to what NFL defenses are. Which is speed across the board, size up front and talent all over. And his offenses fold and look like junk. Actually this is what OU has done for 2 decades going back to Stoops. They look like gods in the Big 12 scoring 50-60 points a week. High flying. But when they get to the big game outside the conference, they fold.
Urban Meyer on the other hand is the complete opposite. He has proven he can win against the best talent and has so on 3 different teams, one being Utah.,
Lincoln Riley is a fraud.
