No comments or thought here, ... but I do have a question.

How does the Iggles nation feel about losing a player such as Kearse, in an OT period that they should have never been in ?

An overtime period that was the result of ineptitude from the coach, down through the QB/leader on down.

I would think Iggle fans would be wringing their hands that they lost Kearse as a result of a total collapse.

Had they not had a total meltdown in the 4th qtr, Kearse would still be playing.

What a shame for him as well.

I've gone Over these questions in my mind a Thousand times, but I couldn't explain how the entire Eagles Nation feels about it.

If pushed, I'd have to say It's somewhere between coming in on a 6-10 season and or losing a game to a rival by 1-3 points! If you know what I mean.

You think?

Keyshawn left on good terms. He was a respected member of the team. Parcells still speaks fondly of Keyshawn. Keyshawn did a lot of generous community work. Many Cowboys fans liked him and were sorry to see him go.

The Keyshawn vs. Cowboys matchup won't have 20% of the emotion (and none of the bitterness) that the Owens vs. Eagles game will have.

Not quite but close, the contract said his deal would be guaranteed if he was not the highest paid OL on the team. The Seahawks couldn't have matched it without screwing up their cap because Walter Jones has a bigger contract. Minnesota had no such issues, though it will be interesting to see what happens when McKinnie's deal needs to get redone.

Knew it was something like that...never the less, we still never had a chance to sign him.

Who would have thunk?

That's an individual call. I'm not that concerned anymore about Mr 81 than I am about winning that game. While I'm sure the rest of the Cowboy players want to win another NFCEast rival game, Mr 81 will probably pour more emotion into that game than anyone else on the team.

Even when Mr. Johnson played for the Buccaneers, he put a lot of passion Into the game. I don't want you to think I'm challenging your assessment on this One, but as an outsider to the Cowboys, I was under the impression that KeShawn did have some issues with Cowboy Management, Bill Parcells and Bledsoe.

While it was unsaid and unwritten, there was some connection to KeShawn leaving and Mr 81's arrival. That said, it will be very interesting to observe KeShawn's outlook and his performance during that encounter.

I'm not going to lie, but I do miss Keyshawn...as of right now.

He plays every down like it's his last and we didn't hear a peep out of him during his tenure here.

I might be being a little premature here, but I see Owens doing the same way. Playing with a broken hand most of the game impressed me. If he continues this style of play through the next couple seasons, I'll put him right there with Keyshawn (work-ethic wise).

I know what you mean about KeShawn ...he is Impressive. Even with Mr 81 I hear what You're saying. He impressed me the same way when he Played for the Eagles In the Superbowl. But isn't it just as meaningful for him to step up to the offensive coordinator or Bill Parcells to let them know that his injury could make the difference in Him making a catch or not. I didn't watch all of the game, but I saw him drop some key passes. Perhaps he missed those catches before he was injured (but that's a scary thought also).

I'm happy with the players we have and I don't spend a lot of time thinking about would of or could of have gotten this player instead.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - we are going to regret drafting Chris Canty over Trent Cole for years to come.

Look at the sack totals people.

This is just my theory in my head, but I think the coaching staff knew. One of TO's drops was on a 3rd and 5-6. He ran a 5 yard pattern and stopped right in fron of Bledsoe and sat down there.

Bledsoe hit him in the numbers, but TO just dropped it. There was a smattering of boos coming from the crowd, and I could see TO with his eyes bugged out, with a look like, "I can't help it" He went to the sideline and his body language was like he was doing all he thought he could do with the injury. I don't know how to explain it. Just a feeling I got from watching him after that play.

Adam Vinatieri over Mike Vanderjagt: For about 600k more a year and for 2 years longer. (3/yr 5.4M vs 5/yr 7M) Vinatieri is younger and more clutch.

As for Hutchinson I don't know really. Kosier is $3m/yr vs Hutchinson $7m/yr.

The Cowboys basiclly got Kosier ($3M)/Gurode ($1.5M)/Vanderjagt ($1.8M) totalling $6.3 million vs just getting Hutchinson for $7M. (a $700k/yr savings) While Hutinson is an incredible player, I still think the Cowboys got the better deal.

The Cowboys have some really good players and not signing Hutchinson allowed the Cowboys to sign/re-sign other players.

Receiver wise, Cowboys got TO. As long as TO is playing when they need him, TO trumps all other free agent/tradable receivers.

Getting Marco Rivera instead of former teammate Mike Wahle in free agency last year would be my regret.

Draft wise we should have taken Merriman, this year somebody other than Carp, player wise I'd vote for that lineman that Minnesota stole from Seattle--his name eludes me but not his talent. He was a man in preseason. I have to admit I just can't pick draft picks either, I was so mad when they took Roy Williams instead of moving up and getting the CB-Jammer but I was wrong on that one too...

Sure, Keyshawn will be fired up. And maybe he has some hard feelings toward Jerry Jones for making the switch. But I think Keyshawn and Parcells are fine. They've said that they consider each other to be friends and the mutual respect is very apparent. And Johnson understands the business of football.

But as an outsider, I saw an incredibly strong tension between Owens and the Eagles. I've never seen anything like it before ... not of that intensity.

Didn't Eagles fans stage a mass demonstration against Owens? Maybe something sponsored by a local radio station? I thought I saw footage of fans burning their number 81 jerseys. I believe a casket was involved too. It looked like some of the demonstrations that happen in the Middle East.

Absolutely nothing like that in Dallas about Keyshawn.

Very funny! You can't slam me that bad ...I'm not a Cowboys fan. Ironically, I was talking to a Panther's fan in the corridor about an Hour ago. I didn't watch their game, but he told me that they had the game won, but tried some type of trick play during a kickoff (some type of razzle-dazzle) and got the ball picked for a TD.

That's one of the Benefits of my job, I have friends here from many different fandoms ...

Eagles
Cowboys
Steelers
Skins
Panthers
Giants
Ravens
Green Bay

That's why I believe it's a good idea to know what your opponents/other teams are doing.

Couldn't agree more!

We could have a chance to make up for it though. It looks like the Bengals may not attempt to keep OG Eric Steinbach. Steinbach is only 25 ... was a pro bowl alternate at LG last year ... and can play tackle and center too.

Kosier (who has played well) could then be moved to RG replacing Rivera ... and Steinbach could play LG.

Trent Cole is a 270 pound 4-3 DE - how are we going to regret not drafting a player we had no place for?

Sacks totals aren't a true measurment when comparing a 3-4 DE against a 4-3 DE.
