Ok so I'm just confused. At first I was hearing he was suspended for another year on top of that 14 game ban but I haven't heard anything official. So does that mean he can play week 16 versus the Lions? I just wanted some clarification on his situation.

Randy will not be playing any time soon...maybe never.

His extended suspension absolutely rules him out for the rest of the year and all (or almost all) of next season.

I think that 2nd round pick has officially been flushed down the crapper......................Randy most likely will never play another down in the NFL

What a shame, the dude had talent.

especially for something like Weed...like seriously the NFL and this whole national is so backwards. If he beat up his girlfriend, was running a drug empire, a dog fighting ring etc fine i get it but weed lol.

Actually most of the guys who did all that stuff are out of the league too lol. Now Roethlisberger.......you'd have a point.

It doesn't matter. Even if he comes back, he won't contribute ****. The guy is a JAG. I don't care what anyone says.

Also, he looks like Frankenberry.
A JAG with a quick first step/speed. The only thing he'll have lost really is game shape/stamina. If he plays week 16 on 3rd and longs he will flash at some point.

Yawn. He has an addiction problem and honestly it shows how much he didn't care about football he might have had the talent but in the NFL everyone is talented

Time to wash our hands this offseason and load up in FA and the draft with talented kids who want to play and make NFL money

We really need to stop pissing away our 2nd round picks like they are Skittles. We either draft backups that hardly ever play, drug addicts who stay suspended all the time, or injury tag players that have no time table for return.

In the Garrett era, I think the only 2nd round pick that turned out to be a stud is Sean Lee (and even he has durability issues, he was getting hurt so much that they actually had an injury clause put into his second contract).

until the NFLPA demands marijuana as a legal form of pain medication for NFL players

I doubt anyone knows for certain.

Dallas should loan RG out to the CFL to just get him some experience while waiting for the NFL to legalize. CBA ends in 2020 I think. Probably the best case scenario for when it could see removal from banned substance list.

How many NFL sacks does he have?
He had 3 or 4 in pre-season and was excelling vs the Giants until he had his high ankle sprain. Players generally tend to get over those 100% after a year, especially for a player that uses leverage and bend as much as he did.

Lets not act like we're dealing with a Ben Gardner here. There's something to this player, he would probably be our second best pass rusher if he played this year
