Any update on Randy Gregory?

He had 3 or 4 in pre-season and was excelling vs the Giants until he had his high ankle sprain. Players generally tend to get over those 100% after a year, especially for a player that uses leverage and bend as much as he did.

Lets not act like we're dealing with a Ben Gardner here. There's something to this player, he would probably be our second best pass rusher if he played this year
So, zero?

It doesn't matter. Even if he comes back, he won't contribute ****. The guy is a JAG. I don't care what anyone says.

Also, he looks like Frankenberry.

You might have a point.

I think you are right. It was McClain all along and not Gregory otherwise why the league didn't even know about it
Right. Why would he be working out at The Star as reported? if he did fail again wouldn't he be elsewhere?

Maybe not. I don't know. All I know is as mad as it makes some of you he is our best chance at increasing our pass rush.

I still have a little hope left that Gregory turns it around. I can not believe anybody in his situation failed another test. The club needs this boy playing.

Randy Gregory has made it extremely difficult for anyone to pin their hopes upon his eventual return.

Suffice it to say, he's been afforded a multitude of opportunities to change his ways -- all to no avail.

Sorry to say I've gotten quite numb to his prospects for an eventual return and/or change of habits.

until the NFLPA demands marijuana as a legal form of pain medication for NFL players

Won't be happening anytime soon my friend. Our new designated Attorney General from Alabama is a legal eagle and will be
enforcing the Federal Law against weed. States will be punished for passing weed laws and will soon be getting rid of them.
Federal Law takes precedence and States could lose lots of Federal dollars for refusing. Workplace rules against drugs will
always trump the desire of the union members. If they want to be paid, they must be tested.

Jerry & Stephen said not anytime soon so you can take it as maybe never but, certainly not this year.

Agreed and seeing as how they committed themselves to such a dark statement, we can rest assured his future as a Cowboy is quite grim. Jerry and Stephen are beyond as lenient as any front office pair could possibly be. In return for their patience and understanding, they've been sorely misused. By the time Randy might possibly be re-instated, his football readiness and conditioning might very well be impossible to restore to its former level. He's done everything under the sun to make his return highly unlikely and only has himself to blame. Hope for him is wishful thinking.

Great points.
Problem is you are talking to the message board keyboard jockey tough guys here.
These are the guys who can't handle disappointment so they feel the need to turn on the ones who let them down. The kind of dudes that call a girl ugly because she rejected them. You know the type.

Yawn. He has an addiction problem and honestly it shows how much he didn't care about football he might have had the talent but in the NFL everyone is talented

Time to wash our hands this offseason and load up in FA and the draft with talented kids who want to play and make NFL money
Weird response. This guy smokes despite it prettt much ending his career. Maybe we can look at what about the plant was worth so much to him? If it relieves anxiety and depression Then he made the best choice for him.

I kind of love the NFL has to face this head on. We all know what the right thing to do is morally here.

Broaddus tweeted that he expects some news soon. I believe he missed a test, which is same as a failed test. Which means he's presumptively gone for the rest of this year and all of next year too

majority of next year. he'll be suspended 16 games, which is 2 next year and minus 1 for each playoff game we play in, so he could be back after 11 games next year. But at this point, anyone who counts on him is a glutton for punishment.
