Anybody else a bit surprised?

Afternoon ABQ.

Yeah I think if I were a Skin's fan I'd be pretty happy today.

Hey Mike,

I hear you. Skinz offense did a real nice job of scoring. Amazing to me how they get it done but they seem to be doing it. How's our favorite Mountain Climber doing BTW?

Saw game.

Looked like same old Deadskin too me.

Ho hum **yawn** not impressd on them at all. Even a blind nut comes along every now and again sum such etc.

Just chalk this game up to Jags thinking they had a bi week and looking past Washington so they naturly come out flat and partied out from weeklong drink drug and hooter bingeings etc.

Plus the referess were the most biassed group ever seen against one team over anoither since ever. They had a part in every score the Skins made and took points and feeld positionings away from the Jags at every chance they got.

Who could say how much moneys Snyder had to give them refs to get them to do his dirty evil sinic bussines of hellish intented poison and slippery venoms?

I swear it looked like one time a ref went to throw a penalty flag at the Jags and a wad of Benjamins slipped out of his pockets placings along with the flag!

At least we no that when they play us Mister Jerry jones won't not let Snyder outbid him on the refs. We play an honest gamings and win fair without hopings on a cheating spree to pull out a win like they done do at Extremeskins and such sum etc.

Same old Deadskins.

I was a bit surprised that the Skins were able to get the Jags this weekend. I did not think the Jags were as good as everybody was making them out to be but they did beat us fair and square. Still, the Skinz put up numbers against them pretty easily I thought. A bit surprising to me.

I think I am more jealous than surprised to be honest. But none the less you have to give them props for fighting it out till the end.

But clearly this is a better team with Portis in the lineup.

I'm not surprised that we won, I am surprised that we were able to

a) run the ball at will against the best DLine in the league

b) put up 36 points against a quality opponent. I was sure this would be a 13-10 affair.

Once Springs returns, hopefully the big-plays in the passing game will go away and our defense will be ferocious once again. As it was, they seemed to get their swagger back this week. If we can go into NY this week and get a W, we should steam roll the Titans at home for a 4-game winning streak. Watch out NFC East!!

Actually besides the fumble (and the mysterious call on the Frost punt), the refs were excellent in this game.

Yeah i agree and I also think you are going to give the giants fits upfront this week, another thing to add to that is that the giants are horrible coming out of the bye....I dont have the exact number but if you look it up I think they win like 20 percent or less the week after the bye.

As far as your "Best Defensive line in the league" Comment, I think you need a reality check there, the best dline in the league is in chicago. And this jags DLine is top 10 but dont forget you played them without their pass rusher in Reggie Hayward, so keep that in mind.

I do think you whip the giants this week, That max protect stuff is frustrating to a defense and then moss's ridiculous speed is a tough matchup for anyone.

i think the excessive celebration call against the skins was more nitpicky than the jags call. Unless I missed something, all I saw was Lloyd picking up portis from behind. Like I said, i might have missed something, but that is all I saw.

After watching the replay, it appeared that Portis was "posing" alongside Moss after the TD. I think that is what was flagged, and not BLloyd picking him up.

As much as we hate the Skins over here, I wouldnt say that Skins are a bad team..as much as we would love to believe that.

Makes me wonder more about how much Bledsoe's back affected our offensive performance. Not saying it would have been better, or we would have beat Jacksonville, but the way the Skins performed just brought that to mind.

CP had a complete game. On the first Moss touchdown he put 2 Jaguars to the ground with his pass blocks. (One of them was John Henderson  )

He's really our MVP.

... we still would've lost to ya'll though. Our offense will never play like that on the road so I expect the Giants game to be a tough one.

I'm not really surprised because thruout Brunell's career, he just doesn't turn the ball over a lot. He doesn't have the huge years that some do, but he's not had many bad years. In his 12 years of actual playing time, he's had 6 single digit interception years. Contrast that with Bledsoe's multiple double-digit interception years and you'll have to agree that Brunell has been a more consistent qb for his career than Bledsoe, and despite the fact Brunell had an injury-prone Fred Taylor most of his career, while Bledsoe had plenty of quality backs thruout his.(Curtis Martin,Willis McGahee/Travis Henry and now Julius Jones and Barber)

Like I said earlier in the thread, the giants are horrendous after a bye, I dont have the number in front of me and I am too lazy too look it up but they are really bad after a bye.

Giants stadium may bring the boo birds out early in the game if the giants are losing and seeing that the giants have been slow starters all year, I think the skins are set to take them apart..

Jacksonville is a quality opponent, and we beat them with offense -- the thing that has been our achilles heel all season. 481 total yards and 150+ yards rushing against Jacksonville is something to crow about.

Damn, Dallas must be REALLY good then

He won't understand the meaning of that post, HH....

RedStink logic at work here...

Ok would you trade Bledsoe straight up for Brunnell?

I doubt he would...not while Crankcase is still not signed by anyone...

I'm POSITIVE the he would rather have Crankcase rather then Brusmell of Bledsoe!

Well, I have not read all the posts from yesterday or today, but, I'm sure that somewhere there must be a post from a RedStink that says, since the Jags beat the Cowboys, and the RedStinks beat the Jags, then that proves that the RedStinks are better then the Cowboys...

You know, RedStink logic...

LOL i was thinking about starting a thread with that same idea...but decided not to waste my time:lmao2:

I hate the Skins. But they have some players who deserve everyone's respect. Clinton Portis is one of them. Sure he does some stupid shenanigans, like his costumes, but to some, thats funny.

The guy blocks. He catches well...all the while being a 1,500 yard back..everyone saw how much the Skins missed him.

For a guy who's 205lbs, he plays real big.

The RedStinks are looking pretty good...I must admit! :dissskin:

Too many tough games caught up to the Jags' defense and Washington was poised to play very well. I predicted Washington would win 20-17, and was surprised by the number of big plays by both teams.

What really surprised me was Leftwich. I really thought he was an inaccurate chump who couldn't throw deep, but unless Washington's secondary is really bad, he proved me wrong yesterday.

leotis, I can't even get past the 1st sentence before I break down and cry from laughing so hard :lmao: ahhhhhhhhhh
