...Cowboys coverage?

So I'm watching SportsCenter yesterday and today and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of coverage about the offense's pretty darn good (Owens-less) performance on Sunday versus the Bucs. (mind you, I am an Owens fan)

Maybe I missed it, or maybe it's the big ESPN love-fest over Favre and Brady.

BUT, I'm ok with that. After the last few years, the less media attention, the better. Just curious if it was just me or if anybody else noticed (or didn't haha):lmao:

to be honest i havent tuned into ESPN for a bit now. I usually look up stuff on the 'net or just tune into NFL Network when i get a chance...

but ur right', I bet theyd be talkin about us a lot more if our offense would of struggled a lot more , including a loss and T.O having a BIG DAY In buffalo.

but nothing of what i mentioned fully happened......so its all quiet.

Same here... I haven't watched ESPN in a long time (except for MNF).

Not sure why some people here still watch that garbage...

Dunno. On Monday, during the day, I heard several references to Romo's career day with an Owens-less team.... or how the Cowboys torched the Bucs through the air..... etc.

Today, I didn't watch ESPN. But I suspect they were busy talking about the MNF games, since, and here's the kicker.... they were on last night.

Its going to be hard to ignore us when we start to beat up on our division rivals and mop up our competition in December.

Viewers who misunderstand, dislike or flat out hates the way ESPN provides programming will keep their network as a very viable and profitable broadcast entity for the next 50 years. Not their loyal viewers, mind you. Nope. It's the viewers who misunderstand, dislike or flat out hates who they put on the tube.

I checked NFL Live tonight and caught 8 of the top 10 plays of the week. Not one of the top 8 were cowboys plays which seemed odd with the 3 td passes.

That was what prompted the post haha

I mean come on, the 66ydr was sweet w/ Roy using speed to get away from the defenders. Austin's 42yarder where he basically avoided two tackles (along the sideline) to score. And Crayton's huge 80yarder...whats' more to say? Only Stokley's 87 yarder was longer among all offensive plays this weekend. ihaha

Funny Story!! I was at the gym today and was watching ESPN where they were picking this weeks most intriguing games. I think it was Merrill Hodge who said the game of the week will be the Cowboys-Giants. He mentioned wanting to see if Romo can beat the giants. Maybe if he watched their past 5 matchups he would have seen Romo beat the Giants 4 of the times. Duh.

Why are people so obsessed with ESPN? I don't get it.

Anyone else checked their power rankings? I was SHOCKED the Pats didn't take over the number 1 spot already.

Couldnt care less about ESPN's football coverage, other than actually showing the game itself on MNF.

They have the worst pregame show there is now, so I rarely see any reason to watch.

The Cowboys beat the Giants, and they become a heavy favorite. People won't ignore it. After that our schedule is pretty cake for a few weeks. Carolina, Denver, Kansas City, Atlanta, Seattle. Then we have a few tough games. Philly, Green Bay, Washington.

This team is definitely going to understand where it is by the time our schedule gets harder.

I never watch ESPN anymore, except for live events like MNF.

Pretty cool to see how many others are the same way.

I noticed it and it doesn't bother me one bit. I also notice their other anti Cowboys blathering. That does not bother me either. Why would anyone need a media outlets approval of their chosen team?

Hostile, I'll say it for you. "Embrace The Hatred!"

What is really funny to me is ESPN and Foxsports have the Cowboys ranked as #13 or less in the Power Rankings, but the guy's in Vegas willing to put millions on it are saying the Cowboys will win against the Giants by 3! Who you gonna believe?
