Now thats a crock of crap... Romo played against first and second team against the Cards and went 8-10 no int's for 71 yards

Henson against the cards went 6-13 for 64 yards against 3rd and future unemployeed

against the Hawks Henson against first and second team went 4-10 for 38 yards and an INT

Romo went 2-6 for 48 yards against 3rd and future unemployeed players.

Looks like against the same comp of first and second team players Romo beats Henson hands down. Period

I think Romo looked very good against Az but in that game, he did throw a ball that should have been intercepted. The thing about Romo is that he doesn't seem to get the pressure on him that the other two get. I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that he is generally pretty good at getting rid of the ball but in that Az game, I think it was pretty clear that he got better protection then did Henson or Bledsoe. Still, he should get credit for at least getting the ball out. He did nice job of that.

As for Henson, he may have been playing against 2nd and 3rd string but he was also playing with the same type of talent. He again had balls dropped, he had constant pressure, guys coming free, and he did manage to take the team down the field for the game winning FG. I think you also have to give credit where do to Henson as well.

I agree that Henson has done a lot better than most people give him credit for but I think Bill already has his mind made up. I believe Romo will be second string with Henson third. (Edit: I did think just as you do until Bill made Henson take a knee before halftime. If he were truely interested in what Henson could do he would of been aloud to run the 2-minute offense.) I do feel Henson has a much brighter future than Romo.
You know I've been thinking about that taking a knee scenario and I'm not so sure it was directed at Henson as perhaps Sean Payton.Bill certainly had a very animated discussion on more than one occasion during the game with Payton.Could be my rose colored glasses but I guess it's possible. After all that all any of us can do is guess.

Did any of you Romo-ites happen to notice the DBs breaking on almost every one of Romo's throws and breaking the pass up? Take a look at that throw to the TE Pierce on 3rd down. That happened to be the 2nd time it happened in his first two series.

I'm not making this stuff up. Go back and look at the game on tape. He cannot zip a ball in against top-flight competition, I don't care how much he moves his pinky finger around on the ball .

Romo would be seriously exposed if he had to start a game.

Bill will not make a decision until after the Houston game and maybe until after the last preseason game. Because contrary to popular belief, Henson is not as bad as you think. Yes, he does not look as comfortable as Romo yet but he has put the team in position to score more than any of the Qb's inclucing Bledsoe. If it were not for the drop passes in his last drive it could have been a TD drive. Do not get me wrong, in my opinion neither he or Romo look that great but I believe DH is doing more with less time. If the light comes on (if)...we could have something special.

Betting on the backup QB....we've hit a new low

You didn't prove squat. It's in your head, again.

Has Romo thrown late 5 times over the middle and had near picks doing it?

Any answer but yes is a complete lie, but you will never let the facts get in the way of bashing Henson.

Morgan dropped a 1st down, and I think the way we were moving, TD. You're right. Morgan hasn't shown anything this pre season. Crayton is far superior.
