I love it. There are so many haters on TV, radio. It's nice to have some Cowboys bias on air. Plus, he's great at doing his job. Brings the passion just like on the field.

doesnt bother me....its just his way of saying dez is the #88 that followed his #88. The next generation #88 (dez) is the "son of" the previous generation #88 (irvin)

I love the passion that Irvin still seems to have for the Boys. He knows what #88 means to the franchise, and he really wants to sell it when someone is worthy of it.

I'm glad the Cowboys don't retire numbers because of this..... there just seems to be some special bond with players of that particular position and number.

What can you say -- Irvin just gets a bit carried away with some of his BS at times. Despite the goofiness, he's a pretty lovable sort, though. He's obviously developed an affection for Dez -- no real harm there that I can see.
