1,000 guys are getting cut today. My guess is no more than 25 of those guys get picked up by another team.

My guess is he goes to PS.

My Gawd... This league is so very hard to get into.
Makes me also appreciate the athleticism and expertise of the NBA, but the competitive edge is just gone, right now from that league.

Neal got cut because they feel that the backup 3 tech is a position that is well covered with guys like Crawford and Taco, just to mention two. Tapper I doubt they release, because he's got great burst and that can't be taught. Thornton is one of the two 1 tech on the team. I'm betting that they hope that a smallish DT can clear waivers and make it to the PS where they could pay him big. But remember a few months ago this guy went through 7 rounds of the draft without being picked, and he's not a QB who showed something, so there's at least a chance he clears waivers and can go to a PS.

Lewis Neal 261 when drafted. Reported to have been up to 280 in camp.
