I give credit to Switzer winning the SB as HC but one thing is for sure the guy does not know the meaning of discipline. His teams lacked that at OU and they lacked it in Dallas. Aikman was very quick to point that lack of discipline out. Barry is a good guy but does not know how to control his players.

He won a SB with Jimmy's team, what credit?Everyone and their mother realizes that anyone could have coached that team to another championship. Also, what he did at OU is irrelevant to the NFL, or discussion about the NFL.

Well Dooms, the only thing The Prophet can say in Switz defense is that his style of dealing with his players has apparantly worked. 3 national championships and a SB trophy speaks for itself, does it not?

It has also lead to NCAA probation and in Dallas he showed no discipline. He left behind a mess at OU and left one in Dallas that is a fact. When your star QB is coming out and saying they lack discipline that says a lot. Barry did a great job of leaving Dallas with a 3 ring circus

Was Jerry really right my friend? After all Jerry's track record of getting it right is mightyt shakey. The Prophet thinks all of us can agree he is not a dynamo playing the role of a GM. No friend, Jerry picked the right coach at the right time we signed Switz and we were rewarded a SB trophy as a result. Give Switz his props brother.

And once again, in one of the few times, Jerry was right.

I will give Switz his props as a College Coach...what he did in the pros, with THAT team was nothing to brag about.

I think it was Irvin or one of the triplets that even said at one point they could have coached themselves to a superbowl as the team was just so good at THAT time.

Aikman never was a Switz guy. Any guesses as to why? LOL. Anyway, The Prophet will hold any Cowboy coach to high esteem, provided they can deliver us a SB trophy. Switz, Johnson, and Landry have delivered. Let's hope the next guy finally gets us back on track. Agreed?
