I couldn't resist SB....... Planters...:lmao:

It's doubly funny, I think, in the wake of his pedantic post pointing out that I'd mis-spelled "perks"...

And yes, Mr. Spelling, I know there's no hypen in "mis-spelling"... but again, when you type it out correctly, it just LOOKS wrong...

Oh, I was smart a long time before I showed up at the University of Texas...

At El Paso... aka UTEP...

For sure, I didn't get any smarter there, I majored in golf and minored in Juarez... you didn't often find me in the lecture hall... LOL...

I don't have to ask where you got your obviously shaky skills in the area of logical thought...

UTEP huh? At least I went to a good college. Glad you applied yourself there, not that it would have helped. LOL

Oh, I thought you said you went to OU...

Well, it seems that "good college" didn't teach you the fine art of critical thinking...

Hey, it was the springboard to a 15 year career as a golf pro...

Did you at least earn class credits for the time spent in Juarez? I'm sure you picked up some language skills......among other things :D

LOL. I'm no OU grad. No state U. for this boy. I went to a good school. I have OU connections though.

A guy named Diego. I wouldn't doubt if the Prophet, Dole, Diego and sbk are all one in the same.
sbk92 is Bob Dole? Interesting.

As for the "witty and unique" 3rd person schtick...I agree with BrainPaint, it's for trolls.

Oh and the 3rd person using dunce who got banned was The Answer.

Who here has followed what Switz has been saying lately? The Prophet notices the man is getting more and more air time as well as quotes and interviews. He also the ear of both Jer and Bob Stoops (he more than likely advised Stoops to pass on the offer). The Prophet doesn't know about you guys, but whenever I hear Switz speak, I make it a point to stop and listen. The guy misses nothing and was one helluva coach.

You mean the same guy who was caught with a gun in his bag at the airport and the same guy who was eating a hot dog on the sidelines while he was coaching the PB?...

THAT guy you're so impressed with?...

No thanks...

3 different people who only share the fact that they are more annoying than nails on the blackboard as opposed to "witty and unique."

Oh, and Bob Dole on this site doesn't appear to be sbk92, but it did match someone else that I will look into.

Yeah, the guy who actually coached us to our last SB championship eons ago. Switz was cool - having a smoke on the sidelines while coaching the Sooners, eating hot dogs....whatever. LOL. The guy won everywhere he went. The Prophet thinks Switz got a bad rap at the end around here.

Switzer was a great coach regardless of what you say. He was highly successful in college and the fact remains he has 1 less super bowl than the sainted Bill Parcells. And that is a fact it, is not open for debate. Say what you want about the guy but he was a great coach and I am a person who bleeds burnt orange.

Right?

Good one.

On the other hand, I, too, dismiss the simpletons' (the plural possessive, no one in particular) mantra that so and so was only along for the ride.
In the case of the last super bowl we won, brainiac, was it Campo who coached us to victory? I mean, who in your mind coached us that year? Butch Davis? Who?

Any simpleton can buy into the idea that Switzer was just a talking head or a front man for Jerra. But there was some substance in all the national championships that he won, right? To say nothing of the great winning seasons when he did not.

OK, a good one by the Prophet and an even better one by the "only along for the ride" parrot.

Go home now, the show is over.
