Anyone else watch very little NFL this year?

A fraction of what I've watched in the past. My wife even asked me about it, lol. I often forget about the Monday and Thursday games. Never watch the replays of the games I couldn't get anymore.

It's not any premeditated anti-NFL protest. I just don't care about what the league has turned into.
For me, it's a tornado of the Jerry Jones ego led Cowboys and the tiresome NFL social stances. When I watch football the last thing I want to see is Bob Costa lecturing me on gun control or a millionaire athlete, league representative belittling me on societal injustices. We should all understand the NFL only does this so they can protect their tax free exemption status. Most of us love the sport and care about society but we live our lives for our families. Egotistical millionaires think they need to control our minds and hearts. Sorry folks that arena is reserved for/by my God.

Play your sport and eterntain us but stop with the social justice scoring.

P.S. Jerry hire a football mind to run the team and get out of the way.

I watch a fair amount but only the top teams. Once you watch the top teams play, its hard to watch us play. You realize just how far we have fallen.

Funny how y'all "hate the NFL" but spend so much time on a football board to tell us that
That's not only funny it's stupid!!! But it's their way of backhanding the Cowboys. Just tells us a lot about them, especially the ones that are always brining up Dak's name

I think this is a record for me for fewest NFL games I’ve watched this year. I’ve watched hardly any non cowboys games and I’ve probably only seen half the cowboys games start to finish.

The product is just boring to me. Regular season is meaningless. It’s just about who gets hot in January since you just have to be respectable to get in now.

I still love the draft but not the regular season.
I watch redzone each and every week where you can watch our modern day gladiators comercial free. I like it and I watch each and every pick of the NFL draft and watch podcasts almost every single day and watch video on future draft picks.

Football is the only team sport were if the matchups good I don't care who's playing.

NFL alone there's been over 25 prime time games that have been decided by one score or less. Some good story lines as well.

College football has been fun too. Alabama vs Georgia was one of the best 4th quarters I've ever seen in any game. Oregon vs Ohio State was a barn burner and decided by a single point (32 to 31). I live just north of Dallas, so it's been a joy to watch SMU as they've had a lot of exciting games.

I am right with you. I despise Gooddell along with Jerry so I spend very little time on the league. I used to be a Fantasy Football superstar. Quit that a few years ago. A buddy called me last week for roster advice. I had no idea who many of the players were. That was so telling.

I've watched every bit I can same as usual. College and NFL.

I'm thrilled that the bowl season starts today and the NFL playoffs are just a few weeks away!
I find that just watching games on the dvr and skipping commercials is the best way to watch, no social media open and no gambling at stake. Jsut unwinding with some ball

I'm pretty convinced that the people who make comments about how the Cowboys are a circus, make the dumbest moves, are the only team in the league to do "xyz", etc know nothing about other teams in the NFL and how they operate. They never watch Non-cowboy games and I've even seen some people comment on the Cowboys games while admitting they hadn't watched them.

I cancelled my RedZone subscription last month cause I found myself more interested in sleeping in and reading or catching up on my Netflix list. Its hard to care when its a year where not only do we suck, but my two most hated teams (philthy and pittsburgh) both are having great seasons.

I live Buffalo. Usually watch the Bills before Dallas if Dallas is afternoon. Bills have been a fun team to watch this year

Jerry and his kid really sucked the life out of this team. Watching Cowboys football with these clowns in charge certainly isn’t what it used to be. You already know before kickoff of week 1 that there’s no hope at all. Beyond that I don’t care at all what other teams are up to. I put my bets in and root to win a few bucks. That’s all the nfl has become.

I've watched more non-Cowboys games this year than any other year. If two of the top 10ish teams are playing each other, I will watch/DVR it. Will definitely watch Bills/Lions and Steelers/Eagles today.

I can't remember watching less games since I was a little kid than this year not only the Cowboys but football in general. I used to live and breathe NFL Football but something clicked in my brain this season early on and it has not been something I care to devote my time to. The same thing happened with baseball and since the strike year I have been a occasional fan of MLB not really engaged and watching a part of a game mainly play offs or world series to be exact. So it begins...

I’ve watched very little. Just apathetic anymore when it comes to the league. I’ll be all-in once the playoffs start because I love the drama of playoff football.

Now college football otoh, I’ve been watching more than I ever have because they finally instituted a playoff format involving 12 teams. Love it

Yeah, me too but for a very different reason. Too many flags. Booooooring. And then add in how they manipulate the game w/ flags, and it's even more boring.

Just saw consecutive plays where an iffy penalty was called, and then the very next play they ignored a blatant one of the same ilk. And I mean it was obvious, almost as obvious as the NO ignored PI call in the playoffs.

Pretty close to the same. I now love college football. And they're already talking about expanding the college playoffs even further. W/ 130 or so teams, going to
16 or even 20 something would not be crazy.

And now I get to crow. It's happening exactly as I conjectured that it would. There are now a dozen or so teams who can compete for the crown. Why? Because all those good players who use to stack up on the top 3-5 teams are now spreading out to other teams. Why? Because that many teams now have a chance at the crown. It'll be even more soon. I mean, Boise lost to Oregon by 3 points early in the season. And there is no Georgia or Ala this year, no one is just completely dominant.

Refreshing, refreshing as hades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
