I tore my calf in September, and its not totally right. It took 2 weeks before I felt very little discomfort walking. I tried to play flag football that week, and it was right back to being off of it. I tried playing basketball four weeks after that, and I had to stop because I felt like there was going to be another set back. I had to go for rolfing to get the constant twinge and to stretch the mended muscle fibers, and here we are in january.

Rodgers is a tough guy but games are still won by teams, Cowboys just need to play their style of ball. I will respect Rodgers but I am not going to make him out to be a God and sure as hell will not be intimidated by a frozen cow pasture.

Exactly, was it not the Bills ( I know their D is good) with Orton that beat them recently?

Even if he is injured, it obviously didn't look that bad against Detroit because he played well.

He killed it out there, but did it with some basic passing plays and using all arm on his throws. Couldn't step into throws, couldn't move in pocket, slow on handoffs, and relied almost exclusively on slants.

Now, again, he was masterful even with the limitations. But...if he's that limited again, with a team knowing well in advance of how said limitations will impact his ability, it becomes a potential advantage for our defensive staff.

I like rodgers and I don't want him hurt, but I hope we get to him and test it with some pressure and legal hits.
I know this sounds mean but I hope he didn't catch the wolverine bug [quick healing]

I expect to see Rodgers at or near 100%, no way around it Dallas has their work cut out for them, I think this team is up to the challenge.

Nah, his calf injury is far more serious I think than the Packers are saying. I completely understand the hush-hush with the injury, this is the playoffs and Rodgers is a great QB even when he doesn't scramble, but seeing a guy drop over in pain and being carted off the field due to a little scramble tells me it's a serious injury he's playing through.

It does seem a bit fishy though. Some said Rodgers should get an Oscar instead if the MVP. Maybe an ESPY for the best exaggeration of a mild injury?

Week and a half of rest and NFL approved pain shot before the game and I am sure his leg will be pain free.

I don't think he had enough time to really heal that calf. If he could've set out the Detroit game along with the 1st rd bye I would agree with you, but Calf Strains don't heal in that short amount of time. He'll be limited for sure.

It's going to be intetesrting. I saw the press conference today and GB coach got flustered talking about Rogers. Saying he was going to the DR Wednesday. Then he said he doesn't have a plan for Rogers and won't have one until Thursday. Interesting press conference

I'll give it to Rodgers, the guy knows how to milk the drama out of a phantom injury.

Reminds me of being a TE in highschool. I took a wrong step and hyperextended my knee, I get all dramatic with it and think I tore the whole thing up so I'm clutching it and rolling around.

5 minutes later, I'm fine. That was embarrassing, but at least I didn't get carted off the field.

Yes. He was stomped on by Suh. However, it was overlooked by the league and he should be fine......being stomped on and all.

I don't get why so many people want other teams best players out for our game. First, it was Suh and now it is Rodgers. Whats next, Sherman? People in general, not a CBZ thing.

I understand it gives us an advantage but I want Dallas to get there respectfully. Our first win is already tainted in others eyes. All we need is another one with Aaron out or leave early due to injury. If he gets hurt or has to leave later in the game, fine.

Want to be the best? Beat the best! With or without Rodgers, Dallas can win this game.

From my perspective from playing in college(baseball), if a stud pitcher was slated to start, we were prepared and focused. However, if he got scratched for any reason, we often let our guards down thinking we had it made and ended up losing.

Mental preparation is 90% of the game, I want our guys going in ready to beat Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, not the scrub Flynn and the Pack! That is when bad things start to creep in IMO.
