For 4 snaps at some point. Can anyone remember the results?

Sure didn't seem to impact Pollard's results last season. Tony's Yards-Per-Carry near the top of the league. PFF scores even higher.

Chargers ran for 240+ yards on Sunday. Their backs are forming a More-Moore Choir.

But I am incredibly curious...Your Zeke-Bitterness-Tour-Of-2023...how's that going for you, bro? Plan to take it international? Corporate sponsors are always sparse, but wishing you the best.
He must be tired because he was also concurrently heading the “Jaylon Smith led the team in tackles” campaign.

People on here weren’t crying all offseason about how vital Schulz was to the offense.
Good point!

Elliott had enough Star power to be a victim of criticism . Several different reasons.

One his off field incidents which came with a suspension derailing 2017 season. Despite many fans support against the suspension ruling he was blamed for that season.

Then his contract hold out stemmed more against him. He never really lived up to his new contract .

I think a sizable group of detractors resented the notion his impact and production in running game was needed for Prescotts effectiveness while those stats would support. We had fans pitted against each other pending what side of the argument you were on.

Plenty of reasons to bash Elliott. Not much if any drama with Shultz.

I do care about how Zeke does in NE.

He’s the 3rd leading rusher in Cowboys history.

Don’t worry about the #ZekeHate

Too bad Zeke can’t return all the TDs he scored for us.
Zeke sucks. Watch him fall down in NE all you want. Good riddance!

Pollard looked good and explosive.

Dowdle looked decent.

But man I'm so glad Zeke is off this team.

And Zeke still screwed us by fumbling in the Eagles game earlier today. Patriots almost had them.
I don't know yet. Ask this question game 9. He did fumble in the Eagles game, but I never thought the patriots threatened them.

No.. He was an anchor to the offense.
No…he was an anchor to your salary cap, not your offense. There’s a substantial difference.

Some of you may be wishing you had a guy like him at some point this season.

Absolutely not. He stopped any explosive plays possible from the RB position every snap he played.

I do not miss Zeke over used and mis-used carries. I still feel we might miss his short yardage ability in games to come. But we will see, maybe Dowdle will be ok in this area.
Here’s the thing.

Yes Zeke was good at running short yardage. However he also limited the offense when he was on the field in those situations because he didn’t have the speed to get to the edge especially around the goal line.

Having guys like pollard, deuce, turpin, etc in there expands what types of formations you can use and plays you can run.

Pollard had 2 touchdowns and turpin had 1 last game. All in goal to go situations.

Not true. Solid short yardage back, and also the best pass protector in your backfield. I’ve see some bad takes from you, so I’m not surprised about this one. He was way overpaid, and perhaps was overused as a result, but spare me the rest of the BS

Hunter Luepke, an undrafted guy, can do all that.

No need to anchor the team.

Dowdle is better than Zeke at this point.

Zeke is nearing the end of his career.

But I don’t see Rico earning any rushing titles.

If he gets 10,000 APY like Zeke, then we can compare.

Why just us? There are 30 other teams in the league that could have signed Zeke - they didn't. He got a small deal with the Patriots. A team that is notorious with chewing up RBs for 12 games and spitting them out onto the street.

Nobody should miss Zeke. He's a slightly above average back now. If you can't replace what he does, that's a failing from scouts and the coaching staff. The myth of Zeke being more than what he was and is continues to grow.
