I will be the first to admit that Zeke has been terrible over the last 3 years. But his career stats and Derrick Henry's career have been pretty much equal.
Derrick Henry 8,398 career yards
Ezekiel Elliot 8,291 career yards
Derrick Henry started his career splitting carries with Murray. Since then he has 3 1,000 yard seasons and 1 2,000 yard season. 2 of those 1,000 yard seasons was 1,500+. The one season between those that he didn't top 1,000 yards he had 900 yards through 8 games before injury.
And it's not about total yards, it's about how Henry goes about getting those yards. It's memorable. There was nothing defining about Zeke's game. He was a well-rounded RB for a time but steadily declined after his 2017 season. He lost that second gear that separated him from the pack and became a good but not great RB.
Simple fact is, if Henry has a couple more big seasons he's probably going to be a HOF candidate. Zeke will MAYBE be a ROH guy for us in the future. As I made with another comparison, what we thought Zeke was going to be ended up being what we are seeing Nick Chubb do now.
