far as I remember another 12 taems passed on him. how come we keep getting grief for it..Besides Tra Thomas, Keith Brooking and Takeo Spikes, none of the players ahve done much more than Ellis.
I think it was closer to 20 teams. Dallas tried to trade down and still grab Ellis later on in the first round. No takers. Perhaps things would have looked different if Ellis was not a #8 pick.
I think Ellis has served Dallas very well, but some people hold it against him that he was a top ten pick and isn't Moss.
Moss defintley would have put up the same type of numbers or better here in Dallas. I know at the time I was hoping Dallas would draft him, but I understood why they probably wouldn't it. There is no guarantee that Moss would have lifted Dallas to another Superbowl, but things could have been different with him around. Much different.
Irvin may not have been injured and found to have a career ending spinal condition. Rocket would not have been signed. Then 2-#1 picks would not have been used on Galloway. Any number of things could have occurred. Rany Moss could have imploded playing under the pressure of being a Dallas Cowboy and expected to win a Superbowl. I would think living in Dallas is a lot different than living in Minneapolis, so more trouble could have occurred for him. Who knows? At this point Idon't really care.
