Parcells always liked Crayton he always thought he was a poor man Hines Ward, they would want the guy IMO.

It's time to give Miles(Speed guy) a shot we have a glut at WR if we get another draft pick we should be able to trade into the 1st round with no problem and still have other picks for the rest of the draft.

Johnnie Lee Higgins Jr.

Trade Crayton & Bobby Carpenter to Oakland for Johnnie Lee Higgins and a 2nd-day pick.

On a team full of over-hyped clowns, Crayton is actually one of the guys who I don't feel gets enough credit.

I not saying we should trade Crayton because he is a problem, I'm saying we have a glut at WR and he seems like a player we could get some value for and the Dolphins just happen to need a WR.

:star:

so we have talent and the object is to trade it? if it has value, should we not keep it?

i'll keep proven wr's over potential wr's all day long.

No. I think that Crayton should stay and be our #3 with RW and Austin ahead of him.

Why does it have to be the Fins?

Exactly.

I would trade his arse right now for a 3rd.

Hell, I would take a 5th and a bag of Doritos.:laugh2:

No, we dont need to trade Crayton. He's far better than Hurd, who is the most likely WR not to be here next yr.

Crayton runs the best routes and has the best hands of any of our WR's, I'm not sure why you people want him gone so bad. lot of teams would be thrilled to have him.

The fact that he single handedly cost us the Giants playoff game was enough for me to "vote him off the island".

How did he do it???

Lets see, he had a perfectly thrown pass that hit him right in the hands with nothing but green in front of him. That TD wins the game and we advance to the NFC Championship.

If that wasnt enough, Romo had a terrific drive in the final minute of the game and threw a strike to the front pilon of the endzone for what would have been the winning score. Problem was Crayton (who toasted his guy at the line) pulled up at the 5 yard line for some unknown reason. He keeps running and he walks into the endzone with the winning score and we advance to the NFC Championship.

I have wanted Crayton off the team ever since that game ended.

Terrell retired? he would be the 4th stringer if RW and Austin were ahead of him

The last thing this team needs is a 4.65 WR, who is overpaid, with a big mouth, that plays small in big games.

Take away the "4.65" bit of that and that describes most of our team..

Jeff Ireland drafted Stanback and seemed really high on him, so maybe Miami would give us a low pick for him.

My idea of trading Crayton was simply because we wouldn't be effected really by trading him. We would still have a solid top 3 and we have 2 good TEs. If we were able to get a decent pick for Pat we might be able to move back into the 1st and still have other picks for the rest of the draft.

Crayton is a hell of a possession slot receiver when we actually use him in such a manner. Why would we want to trade that?

Maybe we can trade RJ to the Phins...

Exactly. He's basically the equivalent of a Brandon Stokley or Bobby Engram possession nickel slot. Under good offensive coordinators those guys can be invaluable weapons. Under RJ ... well.
