Those circumstances are a little different than what the OP is suggesting, imo. If they could get out of Dak’s contractual obligations, and free up some cap room...I personally would be ok with Wilson on a vet minimum.

He's certainly someone to look into if they're considering on moving on from Dak. His Bronco contract means he's likely to play for veteran minimum wherever he goes.

Wilson could be much worse, or could return to form and be better.

If Wilson stinks, we get a better draft pick.

I agree Dak being gone would electrify the fans who don't want to lose with Dak for the next few years, but what signs point to McCarthy being able to help Russ excel?? Dak still stinks under McCarthy. I mean, McCarthy is good, yet he can't teach Dak to throw away a ball when necessary? Although, in Fat Mike's defense, NOBODY can teach Dak that.

And they didn't practice any other play? Because Gawd knows there was minimal film on all the plays Seahawks ran all year.

And if they made a play against another play the Seahawks ran then they would say they practiced against that play. You know they practiced against a lot of plays and for.ations, etc. It's what NFL teams do.
