waiting for the

“visit went well. No signing is imminent“
Still, the question would be why the Colts let him go.

I'm content that Jones, Jones & McClay will make a competent decision, and I base that largely in recent memory.

That is, they arguably seemed so very tantalized by the prospect of adding OBJ... but sobriety ruled the day, and they made the right decision there.

I have every reason to have confidence they'll have the same sobriety this time.

He was replaced essentially there. Leonard was going to be inactive
His contract had injury guarantees for 2024 that would become fully guaranteed in 24 as well.
Injuries have piled up and he's no longer in his prime

Why would Indy give up on him and eat $ millions if he was still good? Perplexing that people are so excited over this one. He is a shell of himself. Maybe he's better than Rashaad Evans? Maybe?
because he's declined, and his contract is for his all pro days and guaranteed for injury next year.

Guess my real question is, why the excitement over a JAG.player. People act like we are signing the old player. Pretty laughable. Just a depth signing if anything. Who cares if he goes to Philly? Run at him if he does... lol

He fits for Dallas. He makes the team better.

How? Dean is coming back and so is Cunningham. We have a need at LB especially with LVE most likely done.
Because they both suck and are both hurt.

Even if they do come back, Leonard would probably start against Dallas. He'll never be more than rotational/injury depth with the Cowboys.

just wishful thinking. obviously he's not the player he's been, but if he can recapture even some of the magic it fills a pretty glaring need for us. low risk high reward.

If he's healthy enough we sign him. If he's not we don't. It's that simple.
