Hasn't Carr been everyone's whipping post for the past 4 years ??

Now we want him back ???

you are talking about a board that ripped Heath and than said "hes a great young talent" Also a fan base that made Dunbar legendary

Did either of these things happy though, really? I've seen it said probably dozens of times that people exaggerate how good Dunbar is, but that always come from people who don't want him on the roster suggesting he's overrated. In reality, the most that really gets said about Dunbar is that he's an interesting player given the role he's got--which has largely been the case up until this last season where he really didn't look like the same player.

I don't remember Heath being considered great, either, though if you quoted it I'm assuming somebody actually did say that. I do recall his athletic measurements were good, which might be where that came from. As a ST player, he's actually been good. On defense, he's depth and a role player and that's about it.

Carr is a must IMO. We cannot gamble on injury prone CB's.
This. Like it or not, the guy's managed to stay on the field in his time in Dallas. I hope they can get him re-signed to a cap-friendly deal

Carr is limited in that he needs the right match up to be effective. thats getting to me more and more rare. time to part ways.

we will not beat teams like green bay, atlanta, new england until we get more athletic in the defensive backfield.
so church unless he is going to be nickle or dime linebacker and short yardage safety should probably be released.

Keep MO, hope scandrick is better with another year to heal. wilcox is at least athletic, heath a surprise? deserves a shot.
draft a CB or FS, sign a CB or FS

(of course rush the passer better)

They signed Alfred Morris to be that every down cover. Still wonder what landed him in the dog house.

Don't know that he was in the "dog house". Lead Dawg named Zeke Elliott landed him on the bench. Simple as that.

yes, quite a few on the board told me Dunbar has skills, a great change up RB, the list went on and on. It was spectacular for all of, a season. Even going into his second season many wanted to see what he could do and the speed he had.

Heath was both praised and panned. Neither of which i agreed with at the time. I didnt know if he was all that bad, or all that good. But yes, even Heath got praised big time when he made a play or two. His famous tackle got him a lot of praise.

I think Carr gets re-signed, unless he decides to retire. Claiborne may or may not return, depending upon what his contractual demands are. There's a plentiful and capable crop of DBs to pick from in the draft, though, should Mo and/or one of our safeties ultimately depart. It should be a pretty good year for filling our defensive holes, though, with good candidates being available at positions of our most pressing needs.
