I’m the problem with the franchise? This isn’t about me. The Cowboys went from 4-12 to 13-3 with Dak his rookie year. This last QB draft has been one of the better ones so far. However, the Bears are still struggling with Williams. Stroud hasn’t looked as good this year. Burrow is having a good season but his team has a worse record than the Cowboys. Despite using the number one overall pick on a QB four years ago, Jacksonville is still struggling. Justin Herbert was a top 10 pick 5 years ago and is only 2 games over 500. Wilson has looked much better with a good team around him. No QB would have success against contending teams with this Cowboys team.
Shame on you for using common sense! I honestly don’t mind replacing Dak but the results will be the same until the rest of the team is addressed.

And this whole business about the cap keeping Jerry from fielding a team is garbage as well .

Jerry just haven’t had the right combination of team and coaching staff since Jimmy left and until Jerry dismisses himself I don’t see it happening

Arch would give fans momentary pleasure but will call for his head rather quickly to because many fans just don’t get football

Of course, it is like watching another bad sequel to a horrible movie after another and you still watch the next one. :muttley:Football is nothing more than entertainment to me and it can be good or bad, at the end of the day it does not bother me any.

Of course he does.

What father wouldn't want his QB son to go somewhere where you can be just average, and get paid like the best player in the world?

That's a lot better than other teams, where you have to earn your money

Remember what happened with Eli, if Archie and the rest believe Arch going to the Cowboys is best for him they can make it happen.

It's going to take having the first overall pick in the draft. No team picking first is going to trade out of it.

It'd be great if we had the power to make Arch come to the Cowboys, rather than to a lesser team.

Unfortunately, it's just unlikely -- Jerry won't cater to the idea of "tanking". Maybe Dak could help?

They aren't winning a super bowl because of their QB. Dak ain't it.
They haven’t won a Super Bowl in 29 years regardless the QB. No QB is going to be able to overcome the Joneses mismanagement. We’ve had two head coaches that won three Super Bowls between them and It resulted in only one playoff win because they couldn’t overcome the Joneses mismanagement.

Arch will be starting for Texas beginning next season and for at least two years.. Draft 2027.. Archie wants him to play for three seasons as the starter. You know he is not lacking money. Dallas needs to do everything they can to acquire him.

Just in time to throw out the trash and get rid of others to acquire more draft picks. The road back to respectability begins with Arch at QB.

Yeah, choke three playoff years in a row and get a record-setting contract for it? Who wouldn't want that kind of job security?
