Delusional must mean there was once logic there, rational thinking. What is logical about being a fan? It's all passion and most can't even figure out why they became fans although we get a lot of discussion about why remain a fan.

If there was logic to it, that would be a good question but being a fan is like trying to explain love to someone. It has to be felt.

Delusion isn't a by-product of being a fan, it is a choice and no one should ever feel bad about believing regardless of what their eyes and their mind tells them, fans are driven by the heart. And of course, the heart is delusional.

Delusional is old guys thinking their nudity draws customers to their bake sales and car washes.

Look, I told myself that if a Cowboys win another Super bowl I will be able to fly around like Superman and bullets were bumps off of me. So no, there is nothing delusional about me. Speak for yourself.
Maybe I should've typed this into my phone instead of speaking to it. That or proof read it a little more.

Finally, Stephen A's excuse for hating Cowboy fans can no longer be used....I NEVER thought Cowboy fans were as delusional as portrayed. For every idiot that spends their families last hard earned dollar on trips to Oxnard, there are realists like 95%+ on here that no longer fall for all the BS that Booger and Chuckles are shoveling. For every ONE idiot mugging for the camera at AT&T in a Great Gazoo sized Cowboys helmet, there are TEN knowlegeable fans watching at home patiently in a wait and see mode...all the while secretly praying that Booger will but on a pair of black NIKE's, pull the sheet up over his head, and take an extended nap. Yeah...I said it.

There’s actually very few Diehard Cowboy fans with season tickets any longer. Most of us walked away after most of 4 decades at Texas Stadium.

What kind of delusional are we talking about here? From roughly the mid 70s to almost the mid 80s, I expected the Cowboys to win the super bowl every year. That's delusional. I haven't met a Cowboys fan that comes even close to that in a long time. Not even on these boards. Being overly optimistic is not delusional.
