I think wishing for a man's death on a family forum is delusional.
Yeah, I said it!
Geez...who said anything about death? His body would physically ascend to a spaceship where his body would be transformed into a new body...most likely, into some other hillbilly. See, this stuff is safe for kids. :):):)

Finally, Stephen A's excuse for hating Cowboy fans can no longer be used....I NEVER thought Cowboy fans were as delusional as portrayed. For every idiot that spends their families last hard earned dollar on trips to Oxnard, there are realists like 95%+ on here that no longer fall for all the BS that Booger and Chuckles are shoveling. For every ONE idiot mugging for the camera at AT&T in a Great Gazoo sized Cowboys helmet, there are TEN knowlegeable fans watching at home patiently in a wait and see mode...all the while secretly praying that Booger will but on a pair of black NIKE's, pull the sheet up over his head, and take an extended nap. Yeah...I said it.

Anyone who actively roots for this team year in and out and is on this site currently is delusional and a joke lol. I like how some fans are trying to not be included in the bunch but no we are all jokes. We sit here arguing with each other every day about how bad this guy is and how bad that guy is all while rooting for a team that's led by Jerry Jones. A guy who's shown he can't win a SB without Jimmy Johnson and who couldn't even win one with Bill Parcells.

As long as you don't spend any money on this circus anymore, discussing Cowboys football here is nothing to be ashamed of. Haven't been to the Cowboys website for ages, but getting all the "news" and Cowboys gossip I need here now. Reading the forums in between meetings at work or while chilling on the couch.

Long story short, I have kinda reduced myself from a Cowboys fan to a Cowboys sympathizer for this season. And this won't change until they win a playoff game in a convincing way. And I feel many here will have a more relexaed season this year. Last season was just the final nail in the coffin of getting exited about the Cowboys before the first reg season game. Let them prove that something really has changed before we give them credit for it. Mr. J needs to feel it in his wallet.

And I definitely won't hype any player out there anymore, before he shows it on the field against a contender. Not even Micah and definitely not anyone from the offense. They all sucked last year no matter what stats they racked up individually. Because it got us nowhere. So Micah can get his sacks, Trevon his picks... won't matter if they don't make the defense good enough as a whole to win games against GB and the likes.

You don’t have to spend money to indirectly support this team. Giving this team clicks and keeping them relevant by discussing them is just as important as spending money on them.

Also, here's a reason I'm feeling optimistic. This team is young. Most of the players have been on the team for less than 3 years. Last season was the first playoff game for a lot of the players. Yet, despite all of this, a lot of good things happened. The team followed up a Murphy's Law-type of season in 2020 with a very good 12-5 record. We learned that our defence is reliable. Also, we swept our division (before you say our division is crap, we were the only division in the NFC excluding the NFC West to have more than one playoff team). Sure, the playoffs didn't go as well as we'd have liked. However, I think that it gave our younger players a great deal of experience.

One thing I'm glad to see that they've addressed is kicker. That was a glaring weakness last year, and that probably cost us the 1 seed. If our kicking game is better, that can be a massive help, especially if we are on the road in the playoffs in a place like Green Bay. Having a reliable kicker is important. Also, a more experienced team is helpful.

That's a little bit far fetched. They are relevant, no matter what. Jerry (and the league by the way) guarantee that. Less traffic on this forum wouldn't change that.

I think some are delusional, some are hyper critical. Myself I see the weakness and strength of this team, I think this is a good team trying to become more than just a good team. How it plays out we will find out.

I knew you were exaggerating. Lol
I stand by my comment. I’m just not going to present a pic on here or the internet for potential pervs we have no idea who we are conversing with to broadcast. Believe what you will .

This is an anonymous site where everything we say is without factual support about ourselves and lives along with most of our opinions.

Notice how hardly anyone here at CZ is saying we're a shoe-in to win the Super Bowl. Most Cowboy fans have been frustrated for decades, and the thought of a SB victory is more like "I'll believe it when I see it." For me, I know it's possible, but I sure as heck am not putting any money on it.

Fans in general can be of delusional sorts. They often can believe in something without factual evidence to support . We have billions on this planet who have beliefs and faiths not all based on factual evidence.

That’s all part of fandom. You want to believe the best in your guys. Similar to how you might believe your own children are capable of fulfilling their goals without any prior history to support such.

Faith and belief are quantities that are often based on hope or wanting to believe the best in someone or a group. The fact you believe you can do it can drive you to fulfill those goals and dreams.

I can see how it could be construed delusional I suppose especially in the Cowboys case with our recent history and trends. But who are we individually to dispute what every individual beliefs and faiths are. There’s a fine line to be drawn there.

Some fans just want or need to believe . Eternal optimist aren’t necessarily a bad thing. We just should be cautious to follow their analysis cause it doesn’t always follow factual evidence. But once their insight or instincts begin to prove out then we would probably be more apt to recognize if their instincts becomes the norm as they may have a

While we disagree on a couple of topics, I agree with this. Your life is your business. If you say your wife is attractive, I believe you. Congrats. I’m blessed that way myself!✊

No one forced you to offer your wife as attractive on these pages. You did that to her. You're not standing by her at all, you're throwing her under the bus by not proving your comments with a picture. I'm fine with you not wanting to show a picture but then shut up about her.

Why should it bother anyone if a guy voices pride in his wife? A nice, normal person SHOULD say “congrats”. Why must we show documented proof for everything we say? Why should we apologize for every opinion? I consider MY wife a real prize, and I don’t need anyone’s approval to say so.

If I tell you it’s raining outside will you need a picture too? This is bizarre.

How about if I was a season ticket holder for 40 years. Do you need to see all of the Stubbs. Hey , like I said, believe what you want.

You really want every personal comment supported by factual evidence. I could have provided you a pic of anyone and you’d never know.

If you want to be gullible then go right ahead but don't insist everyone be as naive as you. Okay, Sparky? ;)
