Another elite talent with a wasted career in Dallas. Jerry is getting good at this.

Personally I think it sucks. Yes, Zeke is wildly over-paid but he has been a great teammate and does a lot of dirty work and was a helluva lot of fun to watch when he still had his explosiveness.

My favorite Zeke game ever was his rookie year against the Steelers. That was big time win for a young team and he was HUGE in that game.

It's not his fault the Jones wildly over-paid on his second contract.

He never whined, cried or complained about his diminished role last year and I hate to see him go.

He was a great Cowboy and it bums me out even though it's the right thing to do.

Zeke wanted to get paid and held out for it, Jerry Jones obliged but Zeke never performed to the level of his contract. This is about productivity and getting it done, Zeke plays like a 35-year-old running back and he's only 28. I don't believe his presence on the field makes this team better like Pollard does. The Cowboys can get better value by drafting a guy in the 3rd/4th round than keeping Zeke at 5M assuming gets a different salary.

he can come back for a Mosert deal. Does this mean a possible hello to BR in the draft.

Look him up. Had 1,000 yards and 17 TD's last year, and is a big guy who could compliment Pollard very well.

That said, after having a breakout season last year he might get a nice payday the Cowboys aren't willing to give.
Yes a good big back, look his demands up ,

dont you think the lions would have kept him if hes wasn't asking for a lot, instead they singed an outsider to nice deal.. this is Cowboys fans once again thinking every FA is easy to fit here. im bettng hes looking for big payday,. We cannot afford that with Pollards 10+ mil and zekes dead cap..think harder that too much $$ to one position.

best to Draft a player to ADD to TP and Malik.

rather focus our next $$$$ to a Vet LG and also draft a LG of the future to groom over a RB..

Yeah they were trying to get him to take a big pay cut. I suspect he refused. So now he gets cut. All that's left is whether he's a regular cut saving just under $5 million or a June 1 saving over $10 million.

My god man. Who cares. Why dont you post videos of him in 2016 when he took the league by storm? This is why people call you a troll. Right here.
He went from you betting me he would be a 1,000 yard rusher to getting released.

Have you ever been more wrong about a player? Heart over brain, my friend.

Where will he end up? Should be interesting..
Could be against an opponent that we will rue in the playoffs. If an NFC team, as we sure won't be playing an AFC, as in the SB. :muttley:

But hey, whatever is best for the team, I am for it. TEAM first.
