Are The Cowboys Super Bowl Contenders?

Oh, Jon Jansen is average huh? How many sacks did he let up? And our LG is Todd Wade, who, in the only action he saw, didn't give up a single sack against Will Smith and paved the road for 211 yards from Betts. Try again.

one game doesn't make a player, or Torrin Tucker would be an All-Pro for handling Michael Strahan in a game in '04

Colombo only allowed 4 sacks

It's hard to teach 5 idiots screaming at once, sorry, I'm doing my best.

Try harder.

Your lame attempts would be disregarded by a whole convention full of "idiots" who have but a cursory knowledge of logic.

Which makes you....something else.

you forgot receptions, which is the #1 category

you don't have 1st downs either

Okay, receptions ISN'T the number one category. Not by anybody I know. And first downs, here you go. 100 vs. 139. Let's just assume, for a minute, that Cooley has another average season, that puts him about 140. Right next to Witten.

I suppose Witten will just be curling his hair during this average season.

I'm not sure your brain is connected.

Please save the Todd Wade nonsense for someone who doesn't know any better.

Wade is garbage - like the rest of your 'argument'.

He's there because they couldn't get anyone better - like Leonard Davis maybe?

How can a glorified H-Back get more props than a bonafide Pro Bowl tight end?

What other action did he see??? Just the one game. When he first came into the league, he got Rookie of the Month for October before he got injured.

yeah, that's why the leading receiver is always referred to the guy w/ the most receptions!

And Witten wouldn't play at all that season then?

Is that right Math-O?

:lmao:

No, I'm accounting for Witten's one extra season

he's been a career backup, sorry kid, he's not good, certainly not better than Kyle Kosier

Really? So Steve Smith wasn't the number one receiver in 05? He's the number one TARGET. Different.

btw, the last 3 years, Witten averages 830 yards a season

Yeah, but in order to compare two players, you can do one of two things. Project out to the younger player to make up for the time he wasn't playing OR you can compare the seasons that they both played. Which do you want it to be?

In which he started 7 games.

Which you threw a fit about earlier.

And still...you address no points.

I award you no points, Witten is better, you can't produce any ranking system that refutes that besides "firehawk's homer system" and may god have mercy on your soul.

You've been getting rocked up one side and down the other in this thread. Time to go be with the other homers and lick your wounds.

See this is where you're wrong. Nobody schemes to take a 3rd option completely out of a game... just as no one schemes to take a 5th option out. They scheme to take out the main option, and maybe a second. Then they dare you to beat them with your 3rd-5th options.

I still don't see how it's "harder" to gain yards or TDs as a 3rd option as opposed to a 5th.

So your saying that no one accounts for Cooley, just like no one accounts for Witten? Right...

Reading comprehension not too high on you Commanders' fans priority list huh?

you're so dumb, it's not even funny

leading receiver is used to describe who has the most receptions, here's an example...

With his 5-yard reception in the second quarter against the Colts - the 535th reception of his career - Troy Brown became the Patriots' all-time leading receiver, passing Stanley Morgan's mark of 534 receptions

yeah, all-world kyle kosier huh?

At least he wasn't a leftover who got cut from the Texans!

The offensive line challenged Texans cut that bum!
