Are the Eagles WR Corps in better Shape without TO

Look, this isn't simply "yet another" TO thread. Why? Because this will explain more about how this Eagle fan feels toward what we know about the 2004/5 TO than what we're guessing about toward the upcoming 2006 TO.

The former Eagles TO was a demon in disguise. Eagles Management fault versus TOs fault, makes no difference. TO came out of character by saying and doing things that he believed would get him bigger dollars -- he won; or has he?

The New Cowboys TO is an angel in disguise. Cowboys Management has given TO all he wanted plus more (in the form of a longer contract...
3 years - 25 million). Uncertain about the contract parameters, but I believe it's long term. If TO has truly given up his pitch-fork for a harp, we'll know fairly soon.

I feel as though an albatross has been lifted off of the Eagles sail. I believe it's more productive to have a mediocre wide-receiver corp functioning with the team in harmony, than to have a wr level that dysfunctional to the operation of the team. Brown, Pinkston, Gaffney, and Bloom require more to handle than you think -- especially with an unknown Eagles running game revived. Remember the days of Duce Staley?

Listen, it's no secret that TO has made some enemies ...and not just within the Eagle players. There's a zen philosophy (and no I'm not Muslim, Buddahist, Bahai, Sikh, or any or that ...not that there's anything wrong with it), that suggests bad Karma begets bad Karma ...or otherwise known as what goes around -- comes around!

This is not only going to be one of the most interesting seasons for the Cowboys, and the Eagles ...but for the entire NFL, the press, and the fans. Our questions about TO; the demon or angel, will finally be answered.

TO will get touches, he will get his yards, and he will ultimately score touchdowns ...but just as sure as I am about that, I can tell you that the Eagles plan to minimize that effort ...with extreme predjudice.

I'm waiting for your responses ...I may/may not offer comment to the hounds...but I definitely will not get involved in a pissing contest over conjecture and opinionted comments.

Is this a serious question?

Or a case where you'll hear and see only what you selectively choose to?

First off - the self-righteous superiority in that last sentence is great. Really, we love it.

Second, did I miss something, or was there absolutely no comparitive analysis of the Eagles WR corp with and without TO - in a thread entitled "Are the Eagles WR Corps in better Shape without TO"?

I fail to see a point.

And you keep the "spin control" running full speed ahead. And ignore any fact that doesn't support what you want to see.

Maybe you'd be more comfortable playing out your fantasy on an Eagles message board (if they even have one)............

As Superpunk asked, Is there a question in your post that goes with the Title of your thread?

As far as the eagles WRs without TO.

I think the only things that may be better in their favor is they have more chances to catch balls and possibly mature into their position.

They may not have one WR double teamed or another team's defense know which is the best WR (yet) to cover.

Then of course you have the idea that McNabb and the FO do not have to worry about any confrontations with the star WR (at this point).

It made more.

I've read it twice, and I still can't pinpoint an objective, or any real form of a question in there anywhere, other than the title, which seems completely unrelated the the OP.

Plus, now I hate myself.

Whenever riding a slip and slide with Napoleon in Central Park, always make sure the turtledoves have sufficient Ziploc baggies.

the worry I have, or jubilation, whatever, is that your backup QB said someone is going to have to seperate themselves from the pack, while you already know what you're getting in TO, it could be awhile before someone in that Philly WR corp seperates, it may take the whole year

I mean, Jabar Gaffney is a possession WR, Greg Lewis is raw, Reggie Brown drops too many balls

The birds have no one even close to TO. FACT. SO they will miss his production on the field. FACT. How it all turns out with the boys is another story that has not been written yet. The birds w/o TO are a lesser team. FACT.

I only got to see a few of their games, besides the dallas games.

Now I did notice he, Reggie Brown, does drop a pass here and there, but I also think he seems to make some pretty good plays at times.

He kind of impressed me for being a rookie WR in the WCO that normally takes them a few years to get used to.

I am sure they scaled down the offense for him, but still in what few times I got to see him I thought he looked decent minus the dropped balls.
