Are we being too hard on Dak after the 49ers?

Dak is not losing his job because he will keep the 8-8 9-7 machine rolling.
*12-5

(But you couldn't say 12-5, could you? Because 12-5 is actually good and it would make you look silly)

The 49ers defense was ranked #1 in the entire league.

Probably the best front 7.

However, I don't believe fans are being too hard on him.

The interceptions were more of poor decision making on Dak's part than the defense making a play.

Take away those 2 ints and that would've probably made the game a lot closer and could have changed the outcome to a Dallas win. He's being paid $40 million a year.

The loss is 100% on Dak.
I don’t think so…..D played great…those Picis by Dak were so bad, late as hell on the out and couldn’t read zone on the second one. Prolly cost us the game.

Lulz.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the revisionist history started being trotted out.

Ward was a little too hard on the Beaver…..but we aren’t being too hard on Prescotta.

Ask Philly. You do not lose to a rookie QB in the playoffs when you have a top 5 defense. Dak and Kellen Moore should have 100% of the blame.

Dak turnovers cost 6 points. Kellen Moore could not adjust calling the game like he was down 20 points.

this game answered it. the 49ers defense is not that great. 12 points is pathetic.

Dak played like a b****h against the niners. I don’t know how anyone who watched that game came away with any other conclusion.

The best we can hope for as fans is he comes back better next year and teams with better rosters suffer key injuries for DAL to take advantage of.

I really don't think so. It doesn't help to harp on failures but it's important to recognize them. I think the big thing is remembering this dude was basically a 5th round pick. (Comp 4th)

Geno Smith put up more points on their defense the week before. Really Dak put up a net zero against them. He only led us to 9 points (the other FG came from a special teams turnover which he did nothing with) and he cost us 9 points (lost at least 3 from that red zone turnover and SF got 6 off his INTs).

If the Cowboys draft a QB with decent skills and half a brain, Dak would lose his starting job before the season starts.

The contract is meaningless, whoever the better player is should be all that matters.
That's the way it should be, but that's not what happens in Dallas.
