Gallup is a 5 right now.....go get Ced back from the Fins. Opening day lineup of Lamb, Cooks, and Ced ain't too bad.

Comparing cooks to Gallup is laughable
Cooks has put up 1000 yards or more each year he’s played the full season
I like Gallup and he’s a good player when healthy but he’s not the player cook is

I doubt it’ll be an OL, and I don’t really see a good candidate at DT at pick 26, so you’re likely right that it won’t be a “Big ugly”.

I could see WR or more likely TE. If Kincaid is there, I hope they just pull the trigger and get the next Jay Novacek.

I could also see a DE/edge player if someone like Nolan Smith falls a little, and of course there is a chance the pick could still be Bijan or Gibbs.

But at least we’re able to start zeroing in some on the position they might choose.

Kincaid reminds me of Witten. Both really use their body to wall off defenders
Kincaid would be tough to pass up if he is there
I could see a guard if a goid one is there and no other guy slides

Cooks runs a *lot* faster than Gallup, and speed is what we need opposite Lamb.

I think we're more than set at the skill positions, at least as far as starters.

Likely we bring a cheaper and lower drama veteran RB to backfill Zeke's role, though I hope we also bring in a draft pick for that role too.

Would like to see Hilton resigned if we get him cheap. Would have rather signed him for cheap than trading for Cooks.

Maybe we bring in a blocking TE.

But we're done on starters at the skill positions on offense. Done.

I’m curious just what his issues was. I know I’ve read he struggled to learn the route concepts and may have to learn new ones now. But he has talent. If he put in the work this offseason like he should maybe he takes a nice leap

Since the QB doesnt make those around him better like elite QBs...

I think there is need for more 1st rd wide receivers, tight ends and/or o-linemen.

So that this QB being paid elite money can continue to be carried by those around him.

It's a Jerry Way sorta thing.
And at the end of the year blame team failure on everybody or everything other than the QB who was the main cause.

Gallup wishes he was the player Cooks is.............there is a reason Cooks makes $20 a season on averge.


Gallup has been in the league 5 years..............broke 1000 yds just one season............1/5 is 20%

Cooks has been in the league 9 years..............broke 1000 yds 6 times..........................6/9 is 67%

Yep, all signs point to TE at 26.............Either Kincaid or Washington I am predicting.

Very likely. They want to add some playmakers and surround Dak with more weapons. It will probably come down to WR/TE, depending on which one falls to us that we want. Otherwise I think it may be OL.
