the more i think about it the more i realise how deep trouble the cowboys are in because of dak

they have no choice but to try to re make the 2016 offense with TRAINING WHEELS for their $40,000,000/yr “franchise” qb

that is ok with dak on a 4th rd rookie deal i can not wait to see how they do it now with a big fat liability takeing up 15-20% of the cap by himself

it hurt to think about if u have a hope of a cowboys super bowl any time soon

dark time is ahead for this team i think

:(

ps i also do not think dak is as nice or as good at leadership as people say

I dont know if their is a player I want to be successful more than Dak. Im old school and I love the way he handles himself on and off the field. But there is an old saying If someone shows you who they are Believe Them. Dak has shown us, if things arent perfect he is in trouble and with the money he and Zeke got paid we cant afford to put the team around him that he needs.

Dak getting off to that 9-1 start, or whatever it was, in 2016 was bad luck for us. Made us think we happened upon or next franchise qb in a middle round. Jones had not been good at anticipating when a starting qb will need to be replaced. We milked Aikman as long as we could until one day we suddenly had no qb. Same with Romo. I think they should draft someone high and get a good old fashioned qb rivalry going here.

He isn’t good enough to get to a SB…….that is the only goal here. He folds against competent teams too often.
To be fair...Kellen Moore is not helping him...at all. Give Prescott to Kyle Shanahan and that run game + defense and you have a winner. You'd get back the QB you saw for the first six games, when the offense was putting up 150 or more rushing yards per week. Cover 2 - rush four is his kryptonite right now and any team that can do it will continue to befuddle and perplex him. Against single high safety he can ball, but THAT requires a really potent ground game.

This game was always going to hinge on that. I watched Rodgers on the All-22 and the plan GBay utilized. Run and short when they showed Cover 2...attack deep outside when they rotated into Cover 1. This was the thing that Prescott needed to do...but he isn't Rodgers. Rodgers was willing to attack outside even if it wasn't "totally" open.

We could win with Dak if Jerry could pull off the following trade:

The entire Titan's team for our team, less the QB.
You're missing the point the Titans didn't have 40mil in salary cap tied up in an ok qb they have ok money tied up in an ok qb. You cant pay top quality money for that type of play. Need money to go to oline, defense, receivers, etc in order to win a Superbowl. It's only going to get worse in offseason as cowboys can't keep all these weapons bc we're way over the cap right now. This was win or rebuild type year bc of new cap

I like Dak and think he is a good QB. Problem is, it seems we have to surround him with great talent everywhere for him to succussed. He is much better than a backup but, not a put the team on my shoulder's kind of guy.

If you are going to build a team that has got to lean on it's offense heavily then Dak is not the QB for you. He needs a team that can lean on a top 5 defense with a good run game. He doesn't have the elite arm talent to push the offense where it needs to go but he is good enough if he had the right team support like the titans or old seattle when they had doomsday and marshawn.

My feeling is that Dak, Zeke, and Jerry have to take responsibility for all the coming losses. Each deserves trash thrown at them bc they took money and in Jerrys case gave money to unproven chumps that haven't won anything. People will say phili paid wentz, Kansas city paid Mahomes but they got championships and here we are with 25 years of nothing. Kansas city will most like take a few steps back after this year as you can't keep everyone when money is tied up in one person. They do have a better shot to overcome their roster losses bc the qb is actually elite. Dak cost us Gallup thus year and lamb when rookie deal comes up. Zeke cost us improving/maintainibg online bc he thought it was all him and didn't realise it was the online. Basically 10 years, probably more for each of these mistakes. It would be easier to swallow had we had a super bowl to wipe our tears away with.

Not at this point, we need a really good QB coach for him to get over the hump.

I try to support...but he looked lost yesterday....I'm glad you're enjoying being right.

I think that there's something going on mentally that he's not talking about and isn't seeking help for it and we just saw the result.

For his sake, I hope he gets that help. For the Cowboys, I hope he gets that help. He hasn't been the same since the injury this year.
