No, but he is playing a lot better lately. Best player on the team (minus Cedarian DeLeon) on Sunday.

It takes a team to win in the playoffs, not just a QB. Guess you forgot how that works, too, from back in the 90s?
Oh, I remember. Troy Aikman dropping back in Candlestick Park, home of
the 49ers, hitting Alvin Harper and essentially locking up a victory in what
many felt was the real SB... I wonder how much longer it will take for you
and your minions to realize that's not gonna happen with Dak. Heck he can't
even do it in a regular season game.

But hey, enjoy the 50-0 blowout against the Giants next week.
"Championship"... lol

Oh, you mean the Troy Aikman when he had the best team (starters and backups) around him that money could buy, along with the best Oline/RB/FB/TE/WR/Defense/Special Teams of the 90s???

The same Troy who used to play at his worst when he was under pressure and forced out of the pocket AND ESPECIALLY DIDN'T HAVE THE BEST TEAM OF THE 90S AROUND HIM DURING HIS EARLY AND LATER YEARS? You know, the same Troy who had two left feet and struggled to scramble out of the pocket? So many times during his later years, he ended up either missing his targets or concussed while being forced out of the pocket. Look at his career stats, especially hist first 2 years and last 4 years. Troy was constantly averaging pass completions percentages in the 50s. Heck, his last 4 playoff games during the late 90s ended with horrible results. You prop him up because of his SB years, but you forget how horrible Troy performed before and after those SB years when he didn't have the best Oline, best WRs and best protection money could buy. Once the salary cap came into effect, Troy's reign of perfection came to an end. He got exposed and looked way worse than Dak. That's what you are not realizing when you bash Dak while you compare and prop up Troy Aikman.

No, it just proves that some are fed up with "almost but not quite"
Well the common denominator to almost but not quite is Jerry

DAkis playing very well and giving all that he is capable of giving using everything in his skill set to try and win.
When that continually comes up short against more talented teams that means your general manager needs to get more talent on your team to help your quarterback finish.

Finishing is a team responsibility it's not something that should necessarily be lumped on one guy which is what we continually do here get the man a freaking powerhouse running back to help him finish and we will not come up short.

for one third of the board, losing with style is good enough to make a top 5 quarterback.
For the whole fan base losing sucks. No matter where your quarterback is rated but it's just simple.

When you take your car to the track and it continually runs 11 1 or 11 too in the quarter mile if you want to get under 11 seconds you might want to think about some higher compression Pistons a camshaft and a bigger carburetor.
If we want to think about beating good teams in difficult situations in their house we might want to think of putting some more horsepower in our stable in the way of a power running back.
We are in the NFC East guys might makes freaking right and the eagles have the might they can get the yard when they need it use all four downs we are lacking Brute power.

Jerry needs to get us some Dak is not going to finesse his way around this problem

Props to reality for putting the poll back up but waiting just a little bit for the raw emotion to settle and people to be able to think as rationally as they are capable of thinking after a gut-wrenching loss.

He finally started playing closer to his pre Garret play and is doing better but could still amp it up a bit. Dak does better when he is running than taking saks or throwing to the line of scrimmage. Garret ruined him.

Troy choose wisely where to throw the ball. Dak does not.

Nuff said.

It’s not even about whether or not I’m happy. It’s about what are my other options and with that we could do worse

Dak has probably reached his ceiling but you never know. Super bowls are not won by 1 person . I got more faith in Dak than I do in the OL they are the biggest reason we can come up short

But at the end of the day for this guy it’s just entertainment and the cowboys are entertaining

If I have any ire at all it’s for those in the press box not those on the field

For many fans the votes they make on polls reflect their current emotions so it is unfair to label someone who changes their mind (in either direction) a bandwagon fan.
I'm still going to disagree with this. What do bandwagon fans do? They jump on board with whatever is popular at the moment but jump back off when it crashes.

My 'no' vote isn't going to change simply because he played a somewhat decent game. He still made major mistakes at the end, still wasn't clutch, and still can't beat better teams. There's no 'emotion' in my decision at all.

Let's go back to this past weekend for a moment - would you be willing to bet your house that even if Dallas had Mahomes they were still going to lose to the Iggles? You would be wise to pass on that bet.

You're right in that it takes a team, but replace the average QB who can't finish games with a Mahomes type QB and the chances of a win increase by a ton.

It didn't matter to me if the poll was put up 5 minutes after the game or 5 minutes before the next one, My vote is still going to be no.

the sooner you grasp that a Mahomes type QB is not in the cards at the moment the quicker you may start to enjoy things. Dak was the reason the game was even in reach the Ol steele in particular was horrid. Maybe you just enjoy being miserable its entertainment.
