I’ve been abstaining on this vote for a few weeks now. Throwing another no in there this week.

The real voting will begin with the playoffs.
i can see that...that is our achilles heel

If you were a betting man, you wouldn't trust the Shannahan's to pick your QB either. They got Jimmy G for a 2nd, paid him, then drafted Trey Lance and traded him and they used their very last pick on a scrappy QB (Purdy).

You don't have to be genius, you just need to work the problem. Same with Eagles...they had Wentz and still got Hurts. Doing nothing because we don't trust the Jones' is not the answer....unless we all agree Dak is the answer. I don't think Jerry thinks Dak is the answer or he would have moved heaven and Earth to get this team help at the trade deadline.
I dont trust any of the teams in that regard, but they dont ask us lol.
Jerry is a different guy from the rest he is capable of anything,.
And the whole keep dak or get another guy , is all up to him, and he listens to his group , but he will decide on it, not the HC or GM jr (McClay)

I think every team should always be looking and getting a # 2 , and let them play some during the season to eval them in real games.
Thats how you find a purdy, brady, mahomes etc. Keep a open mind on it.

Many jumped on the Eagles win thinking Dak has crossed over, then Seattle beat Philly, now are you still thinking the same way??

Steve-- there were so many penalties and so many other factors in game such as our DC not adjusting for run heavy scheme and using safeties as linebackers...its good in pass heavy scheme but not run heavy...no i dont think Dak had a good game...but even if he did it could not erase the bad calls the penalties the improper defensive scheme...this is only my opinion...we all have our own
This poll is not about why we lost or who to blame.

I originally objected to this poll a month ago or so. But admin finally convinced me the point of it. I still have not voted in it because it doesn't have the correct answer for me.

But I get it. It's NOT to blame or credit Dak. It's very simple. Are you happy with Dak THIS WEEK.

You can be happy in a loss. Unhappy in a win. One week happy with him the next week not. THAT IS THE POINT!

And yet, admin refuses to add "THIS WEEK" to his polling question.
Seems like stiring the pot to me. I'm voting "no" every time until Dak
leads his team beyond the divisional playoff round.

It’s pretty dumb to judge a QB in his 9th year on a week to week basis though.

I vote no regardless of how Dak plays because he’s a loser that will fail when it matters.

I agree...and i was going to recommend it.
I do note that most people refuse to read his explanation in the 1st reply. Very odd.

OG---i watched extensive film breakdown of game....this game was lost becauseo of our DC....we should have had linebackers and running a 3-4 once we realized they are trying to run down our throats...we have the personnel...but using safeties as linebackers in run heavy scheme is non-sensical...they got crushed....now this is only my opinion....and we all have our own?
And Dak couldn't score.

That's just not what the poll infers. The way it's written, it's clear that it asks if one is happy overall. If it was meant to ask week to week, it would be written differently.

Regarding fans changing their votes from week to week ...

For many fans the votes they make on polls reflect their current emotions so it is unfair to label someone who changes their mind (in either direction) a bandwagon fan.

There are always some fans who hold out hope longer or give up faster than others over players, coaches, etc.

When a fan changes their mind it may be temporary or permanent, but part of being a fan is having the choice to decide what you like and don't like at any given time.

I think these polls are interesting because they provide a snapshot of the fan base's opinion on various topics, especially specific players and coaches.

It is less about being right or wrong or defining who are better fans and more about gaining an understanding of how Cowboys fans are feeling at various points throughout the season.

To clarify, this is not a weekly poll. It is a "poll of the moment".

To be a weekly poll it would need to 1) be posted every week and 2) allow fans to change their votes throughout the week.

These polls are just a statistical way to show the general opinions about a player, coach, etc. at various times throughout the season, usually after big wins or losses.

As I state in every poll, not every poll is for everyone so you do not need to vote if the poll or its timing upset you for some reason.

There is no agenda behind the poll nor is it about who is right or wrong or who is a better or worse fan.

The goal behind the CZ Polls is to better reflect the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of a larger number of Cowboys fans at various times throughout the season.

A bonus aspect of the polls is that rather than the most active (homer and hater) posters dictating what other fans should think by saturating the site with their strong opinions and/or aggressively attacking people who disagree with them, fans get to see how many other fans agree with them as not all fans are regular posters.

As a Cowboys fan I do not care if people like or hate any player because I know it has no bearing on what the team does.
