Yep that's me. My position has been very clearly stated many times also.Approximately 99.97% of the members voting 'no' (including a mod, gasp!)
Same as me, which is in lockstep with yours.Yep that's me. My position has been very clearly stated many times also.
That's like saying that if you have a car that is reliable most of the time except when you need it most and it breaks down at those times, you should stick with that car instead of always trying to be finding a more reliable car because there are cars out there worse than your current car that lets you down when it matters. He's a top 10 QB. If you let him go you're hoping you're going to get a top 5 QB? Good luck with that. So we're pretty much stuck with him. Do I think we're going to win a Super Bowl with Dak Prescott? I doubt it.
The only limitation about cars is having the money. There's a finite amount of Quarterbacks that can play, even some of the starters are not good. There's teams such as the Bears that have never had a good QB in their entire history other than Jim McMahon. You could roll the dice and punt Dak and try the drafting game or free agency but there's no guarantee you won't be missing the playoffs every year. I'm sure there's some that are ok with that because their mentality is Super Bowl or bust. But losing in the regular season gets old fast. That's like saying that if you have a car that is reliable most of the time except when you need it most and it breaks down at those times, you should stick with that car instead of always trying to be finding a more reliable car because there are cars out there worse than your current car that lets you down when it matters.

Even if Prescott was the next Tom Brady in his prime it is still proper to be looking for the next guy. If you hit on the next guy then you can go from a Favre to a Rodgers, or you can trade one for huge gains. He's a top 10 QB. If you let him go you're hoping you're going to get a top 5 QB? Hard to blame it on the defense when they were on the field the whole game. 82 yards let that sink in. You can’t blame defense if offense is not getting them any breaks. Defense held then we ran into the punter, not a big deal bc your boy would’ve went three and out anyway. Point is Dak still sucks just like he did last year in San Fran game, just like year before. Just like this year he is consistent against only losing teams, he doesn’t just play bad he falls off a cliff in big games and big moments. I blame DQ more than anything for his hybrid defense that allows runs up the middle. Leo hardly ever drops into coverage and always fail to contain outside. Teams have figured out run to parsons side but hit v gap then outside as parson will be going after QB. We need to traditional LB both reading the play as it develops. Blitz when we’re in long yardage situations. It’s DQ why your defense is giving up rushing yards, always will be. Traditional 3/4 or 4/3 with limited hybridHard to play from that many points down when the defense fails.
Try again, stop making things up, I never said I was a Dak fan. But I certainly do not hate him either.Hard to blame it on the defense when they were on the field the whole game. 82 yards let that sink in. Or like a wife that only cheats sometimes is better than a wife that cheats all the time. That's like saying that if you have a car that is reliable most of the time except when you need it most and it breaks down at those times, you should stick with that car instead of always trying to be finding a more reliable car because there are cars out there worse than your current car that lets you down when it matters.
I find it very odd that any poster cares how another individual votes in this poll. Dude should be ashamed and embarrassed.Yep that's me. My position has been very clearly stated many times also.
dang Doc, that's rough, but the truthWhen Dak chokes in the playoffs against SF (and he will), we'll see what the poll numbers say after that game.
