49ers had the future QB, as did LAR when they traded Goff for Stafford. Seattle and Houston traded their QBs because they were forced to. Neither of those scenarios are Dallas’.

If you do move on it’s more like Las Vegas with Carr, and they don’t have a very bright outlook.

Las Vagas didn't have a bright outlook with Carr, but at least they are trying do to something about it. Nothing is guaranteed but you have to have the guts to make a change when it's not working.
The Rams traded a younger Goff who went to the Superbowl for a older Stafford. They made a bold move and it worked out. Dallas will keep the core of this team and it will be the same results or worse.
