Are you witnessing the swagger being displayed by the Niners today?

That phrase is one of the most BS, garbage phrases that gets thrown around on here. It was a baseless comment made by Jimmy (who by the way hasn't actually been inside the Cowboys organization in years), which some fans on here regurgitate as gospel because it was said by Jimmy.

There are plenty of things wrong with this team, but this notion that it's because there's a "country club" atmosphere is laughable.

It's not laughable at all, if you want the toughness that a Seattle or SF bring to the table the the culture has to change. First of all, if I was at Home Depot and bumped into the owner or gm from either team I would know them from the guy working there. I can, however, pick out Harbaugh and Carroll because they are the unquestioned leaders of their respective teams.

Those 2 organizations have the proper structure that allows them to shape and formulate the mindset of their teams. However is Dallas, Jerry's always out front being the voice of the Cowboys and he won't allow Garrett and just Garrett to do the same for his ball club as the other two coaches did for theirs.

Because the players know that the owner has the last word in matters such as who makes the team, playing time and such, then that what makes it a "country club" atmosphere.

The Niners and C-hoks are in a different league than we are. We're so far behind, it's pathetic. Most of our D wouldn't make their 3rd string.

That's really sad.

Those teams are loaded with great draft picks. Not just 1st or 2nd round but throughout the draft over the last several years.

One other thing I noticed this weekend is how a team QB'd by Tom Brady rushed the ball over 40 times. Maybe Garrett and Jerry should take notes. Passing 45-50 times and rushing 15 doesn't cut it.

The niners do have swag. They are tough and they know it. And they come together as a team.

They put the women and children to bed when it's time to win. And I'm guessing they beat Seattle.....

I really really abhor the terms 'swagger'/'swag'. There's absolutely no correlation with having a bunch of trashtalkers and a winning football team; you could win or lose either way. The similarity I see between the top 4 teams (yes, this includes the broncos and patriots) is the unwavering confidence those teams have in what they are doing. Specifically, with regards to seattle and SF, they have confidence oozing at every position on the field. Part of that comes with just great players, part of it comes with having the confidence in their HC and gameplan to succeed.

These teams have a coaching braintrust that knows exactly what it takes to beat a specific team; they are always the ruthless aggressors. They're never caught on their heels, and they always go for the throat.

Now, part of that may manifest itself in trying to intimidate their opponents i.e. trashtalking and I'm totally fine with that. It's the defeatist attitude and the total lack of self confidence this cowboy team and its coaching staff has that I'm not okay with. There isn't even a pulse to win.

Neither SF or Seattle have swagger. Both teams are full of punks. Both teams are coached by D-bags and their teams follow their lead.

And yet they are playing in the NFC Championship game while we watch at home from the couch.

Do you want choir boys and watch the playoffs from your nice soft couch every year or do you want some punks on your team and play in your 3rd consecutive NFC Championship game (in the 49ers case)?

“It’s really embarrassing.IT really is. It’s embarrassing. Can’t hit the snap count. Can’t line up on side. There are ****ing holding penalties in the defensive passing game every week for key conversions. There are holding penalties on offense, giving the ball away like we don’t give a nuts about it. Just turn it over to ‘em. Leave the ball lying on the field there for five seconds while they come from 30 yards away to recover it. It’s just dumb football, fellas.I’ll tell you one other thing too, I’ve read a couple of comments. Now, I don’t spend a lot of time reading the paper. I really don’t. but I do watch a little about what we say and what we think. I’ve seen a couple comments here, some of the players talking about we need to get our ‘swagger’ back. Our attitude back.....you know what? We didn’t have a ‘swagger’ last year. If you ****ing think about it, we didn’t have a swagger. What we had was a sense of urgency, a sense of urgency about playing well, being smart, and capitalizing on every opportunity and situation that came our way….it wasn’t about a ****ing swagger. You can take that swagger and shove it up your a**, okay?!” - Bill Belichick, addressing the team during the Patriots 2003 season.

No RKG nonsense on that team. They are yapping, they are playing after the whistle, they are jawing after big plays, and now Kaep just mocked Cam's celebration. They are straight up bullying the Panthers just like the Seahawks did yesterday. They remind me what the Cowboys used to be in the 90s. Cowboys not only need talent, they severely need an attitude adjustment. A guy like Dez would fit in perfectly with these teams, yet for some reason he gets criticized for showing emotion here...what's up with that? Am I the only one who notices a big difference in on the field demeanor btw the Niners/Seahawks and our Boys? I hate the country club Garrett has created here.

Your right. They straight out punked the Panthers.

We have MORE than enough talent. Since when is Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Dwayne Harris, Dez Bryant, Demarco Murray, Tyron Smith, among others not enough talent. What do we need? Pro bowl talent at every position? Just from the talent on the offense alone, we should have slipped into the play-offs, especially when our division was so weak this year. What we don't have is the proper coaching.

Are you telling me what to do? lol

If the people that "I speak for" have a problem, let them speak, not you. (what kind of circular logic is this)?

So when you are tying to speak for .....then stop ,think....then don't. You tend to tell what I think a great deal. You can count two fingers how many times you have been right.

if swagger were a process that took at least 5 years and required stacking, we'd be the best in the NFL

The only guy I like off of either of those teams is Russell Wilson. SEEMS like such a quiet,un-assuming guy who just goes about his business. And right now, his business is winning.

Maybe I'm missing something but RKG doesn't have anything to do with swagger or yapping on the field.

The fact that people can't seem to understand that is mind boggling to me. The 49ers have talent and guys who, for the most part, don't appear to be the wrong kind of guys off the field either.
